Beverly Cen began her career at Park Legal in 2021 as our practice manager and compliance officer. In the capacity of her role, she handles from general administration to trust account management, as well as monitoring AML compliance. Beverly is an ACAMS Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist. Prior to joining the firm, Beverly has been working in compliance in financial service company, and she also had experiences in legal and accounting areas in New Zealand. Beverly holds a Master of Management (Distinction in accountancy) from Massey University.

Deep Gill

Deep is a Consultant Lawyer with us. He is an adaptable law practitioner with excellent research and drafting skills. Deep has worked intermittently with us since early 2015. Prior to practising law he worked as a warranted Immigration Officer with Immigration New Zealand for 4 years. As a migrant and former international student himself Deep has a good legal mind as an immigration lawyer. Over a decade of experience in all immigration matters gives him a thorough knowledge of Immigration New Zealand policies and procedures. He also has good interpersonal skills and experience in working with clients of different backgrounds and providing them the best outcome. Deep is our primary contact for immigration and employment law matters. He also handles residential property matters for sale, purchase and refinancing. Deep's legal experience includes successful applications up to the High Court level as well as at other courts and tribunals. He has a Master of Taxation Studies from the University of Auckland, a Bachelor of Laws and a Graduate Diploma in Business from AUT University, and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Deep Gill also works as an ACC lawyer, and can help you with ACC reviews and ACC appeals regardless of where in New Zealand you are. He is interested in ACC law for the purpose of helping others and maybe able to work as your ACC advocate on a no-win no-fee basis. In his free time he struggles to keep up with his son

Jay is the Principal and founder of Convey Law, the property law division of LAW.NZ Lawyers. Jay is a property law expert with over 18 years of experience in the legal sector. He advises clients across a broad range of sectors and industries, including commercial, business, estate, and immigration law. He is known for his ability to identify and understand the needs of his clients, and to develop strategies that result in positive outcomes. In his spare time, Jay has developed two software programs: Conveytrack, a conveyancing software, and honour.law, a legal practice management software with machine learning technology. Jay is dedicated to helping solo lawyers succeed in New Zealand. He believes they are important and wants to support them in building strong legal businesses. By sharing his knowledge, he guides them in improving their services. This benefits both the solo lawyers and makes sure more people in New Zealand can get good legal help.

John Jon

John Jon is one of the directors of LAW.NZ Lawyers. He is also one of the committee members of ADLS Property Law. John was born in Bangkok (Thailand) and lived in Saudi Arabia for more than ten years. He then moved to New Zealand and graduated from the University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Commerce (International Business). John is bilingual, fluent in both English and Korean. John has always had a business flair as well as a legal mindset demonstrated by his young leadership role as a director of a company which imported electronic goods since 2003. John believes that this direct business experience makes him better prepared to assist clients reach their commercial objective rather than getting bogged down in legalistic matters. John is a highly motivated person with a "can-do" attitude. John has an ability to couple traditional approaches to tackling problems and apply innovative and novel methods in order to reach a successful result for his clients. John is hard working and has efficient time management skills. His main goal is to become a "good lawyer" by working closely with his clients to ultimately fulfil their needs in order to obtain the optimum result and maximum satisfaction for all involved.

Jytte Andersen

Jytte completed her Bachelor of Arts (Anthropology and Asian Studies) and started working as a Receptionist/Personal Assistant at an accounting firm for several years before working as a Receptionist/Legal Assistant in a Manukau law firm. This is where she gained her interest in conveyancing. Jytte became a member of LAW.NZ in February 2022, where she currently holds the position of Legal Executive. Jytte works primarily on residential conveyancing including refinances, purchases, and sales. Jytte enjoys helping clients sort through the conveyancing process and putting it into simple terms everyone can understand. She is happy to spend more time with first home buyers explaining everything as it is a big deal and can be confusing and stressful the first time. She enjoys meeting clients with diverse backgrounds and helping clients to navigate the conveyancing process. Outside of the office, Jytte enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching Indian TV series and movies, documentaries, watching Asian TV dramas, and reading. She loves animals and looking for random dogs and cows to pet .

Lin Li

Lin Li is a confident, hard-working individual with an easy-going demeanor. In 2011, Lin earned his first law bachelor's degree from a University in China, passed the National Judicial Examination, and obtained the Legal Profession Qualification Certificate of the People's Republic of China in 2012. In 2014, he acquired the People's Republic of China Lawyer's License after years of dedication and hard work. Prior to relocating to New Zealand, Lin served as a senior barrister in Beijing, China, where he worked on more than 40 cases in various legal fields, ranging from civil to criminal matters, in high-tier courts. With over 10 years of experience in the legal industry, he has acquired a wealth of knowledge and expertise across various legal areas. His areas of expertise include civil litigation, property law, and immigration law, among others. He completed a law degree from the Auckland University of Technology in year 2021 and is licensed to practice law in New Zealand. He is continually updating his skills and knowledge to stay abreast of changes in the law and to provide the best possible service to his clients.

Sacha Howe

Sacha Howe began her career at LAW.NZ back in 2013 as a Junior Legal Executive while studying for her Legal Executive Diploma, which she successfully obtained in 2016. She is a Legal Executive and her area of expertise spans Conveyancing, Trust, Wills, Commercial properties, refinancing and change of ownerships. Over the years, Sacha has been involved with volunteer work including parent help with school trips, reading in schools, netball coaching, planting on sand dunes and riding for the disabled.
