Global at Douglass is a set of courses and learning communities that focus on topics affecting women, girls, and LGBTQ+ people around the world. Students who pursue Global programs at Douglass through the Global Village Living-Learning Community and feminist advocacy courses qualify to apply to a funded study abroad program for Douglass students in a subsequent year... Dean Barbara A. Shailor recognized the importance of technology and strengthened relations with corporate partners. Under her leadership, Douglass wired residence halls for internet access and renovated College Hall and Voorhees Chapel.
