FALMOUTH PHYSICAL THERAPY - Key Persons
Dave is a native of New Jersey and graduated from Boston University, Sargent College. He has been a physical therapist for over 30 years. He and his family relocated to Maine in 1987 and he opened Falmouth Physical Therapy. He has enjoyed a successful career providing manual therapy to a wide variety of orthopedic conditions and has a special interest in working with dancers. David is actively researching and developing new strategies for treating chronic pain.
David treats using a wide variety of strategies that are based upon the originating problem. His practice includes a wide range of manual therapy techniques which may include myofascial release, reciprocal inhibition techniques, craniosacral therapy, strain-counter strain, and assisted deep tissue mobilization. He has a particular interest in developing specific home programs that are meaningful to each individual. No two programs are the same and always reflect the patient's goals and interests.
In addition to his physical therapy practice, David enjoys teaching both therapeutic yoga and Pilates in the community. David has been an avid biker. He volunteers his time and talents to a local food pantry, his church, and provides onsite services to professional dancers.
