Ananda S Millard has a PhD in Post Conflict Reconstruction, an MA in Conflict Analysis and an MSC in Environmental Management, as well as 22 years of experience in research, evaluation, capacity development, and policy analysis in the development and humanitarian sectors. Her work centres around conflict, crisis-affected, and fragile states, and she has worked extensively in Latin America, Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East. Ananda uses her multidisciplinary background combining social science and environmental management to work on a diverse range of issues that include human rights including specifically issues on children and gender; good governance and anti-corruption; education and health; post conflict reconstruction, armed and GB violence and security, food security, subsistence economies, and climate change. Her combined social and environmental science background facilitates a wide angle view of context and interventions and allow for a much broader and nuanced understanding of development and humanitarian assistance. Principally she engages in assignments that require the identification of innivative and robust methodological approaches and tools. Since 2010, her principal focus has been on monitoring, evaluation, and learning assignments for governments, international agencies, and NGOs, including project-, programme-, and policy-focused endeavours. She is a founding member of Policy Research Institute, Sarl (a Swiss based organization) and a Shareholding partner with Nordic Consulting Group, Norway.

Danièle Lamarque

Danièle Lamarque has been the French Member of the European Court of Auditors (2014-2019), in charge of audit quality since June 2016. Previously she was a reporting member for European development funds, leading audits on the EU budget, migration funds and domestic resources in developing countries. Before joining the European Court she was a member of the French Court of auditors (1984-2014) and chair of two regional audit bodies (Rouen and Marseille) for 10 years. She has been involved in evaluation matters for 30 years, through institutional, professional, academic, international and non-profit activities: member of the Scientific Council, then the National Council, of Evaluation in France (1993-2002), lead of the INTOSAI working group on program evaluation for Supreme audit institutions, member of the board (since 2015) and now vice-president of the French evaluation society, member of the editorial committee of the Journal Politiques et management publics. In cooperation with this Journal, she organised in Luxembourg in November 2017 a Symposium on Regulatory impact assessment at both the EU and national levels (published). She published many articles on issues of evaluation, public management and internal control, and two books upon Evaluation of local policies (2004) and Audit and evaluation of public management (2016).

Karin Kohlweg is a monitoring and evaluation advisor with more than fifteen years of experience in international development. She has a lot of experience in planning, managing and implementing different types of studies, evaluations and reviews. She also conducted a good number of trainings and workshops regarding theory of change, results-orientation, project cycle management, monitoring and evaluations for different staff members, Government officials and NGOs. She is also teaching at various universities.

Laura Fantini

Laura Fantini has a multifaceted, more than fifteen years long, competence in designing, managing, monitoring and evaluating international projects and programmes in the field of development in several countries of the Global South. Moreover, she contributed to evaluation research, through her studies on theoretical and methodological approaches as well as conducting case studies and presenting operational results. She also conducted a number of trainings and laboratories in the field of project cycle management, monitoring and evaluation. She is recently working as coordinator for an international NGO supporting capacity building and knowledge management initiatives in partnership with the International Fund for Agricultural Development. She works as M&E independent consultant. She served as co-convener of the Working Group on Development Evaluation at the European Association of Development Research and Training Institutes (EADI) and as member of the Italian Evaluation Association (AIV). She holds a PhD on Development Evaluation.
