EXECUTIVE HEALTH

We center our health care equity efforts on improving patient access, quality and outcomes, and strategic planning. We collect detailed information about patient demographics and social drivers of health. UCLA Health hospitals assess our performance on key care processes, clinical outcomes, and patient experience, for all patients overall, as well as for various demographic groups and populations, to make sure that all patients are experiencing the best health care. We develop plans to prioritize and implement efforts to mitigate disparities as inequities are identified... Collaboration - We work in partnership with patients, families, caregivers, and community organizations to support health care equity... Data Collection - We collect self-reported data from patients, staff, and leaders, and review data about the communities we serve to improve health care equity.
