Our goal is to partner with everyone to advance equity in Fairfield County - whether you're a local nonprofit or business, community leader, lawmaker, or simply a person who cares about the community. We believe that, together, we can make the biggest impact by focusing on these important areas... Since our founding in 1992 through a merger of five local and regional community foundations, we have worked as a philanthropic partner to amplify donors' impact. Now one of the largest community foundations in Connecticut, we serve all 23 cities and towns across Fairfield County... Fairfield County's Community Foundation works closely with local organizations, nonprofits, businesses, government, and philanthropists to address challenges and identify opportunities to create a stronger, more vibrant region. Informed by three decades of partnering with and serving our community, we have awarded more than $390 million in grants to nonprofits in Fairfield County and beyond.
