Adservio ab Pieta s, or Dean Adservio as he is known at GSW, is an 18-year veteran of magick and the occult with a strong focus of study on Ceremonial Magicks, a department he now serves as dean of on top of his other responciblities.
His interest in magick was piqued at the age of ten when he stumbled across the writings of Phil Hine and Peter Carroll. Those early days ultimately led him to a more generalized study of magick, in all of its manifestations and forms. It was also around this time that a young Adservio found his way to the Grimoire for the Apprentice Wizard, and other formative writings which would ultimately shape the path he walks today.
As a profound student and avid practitioner of Arcana, Dean Adservio found a spiritual home in the field of ceremonial magick. Specifically, the elegant beauty of the Golden Dawn system was something which appealed deeply to his nature. Today, Dean Adservio finds himself with more of a focus towards the practices and understandings of Hoodoo, Angelic Evocation and other facets of Ceremonial Rituals from around the world.
Adservio ab Pietas has for more than a decade dedicated himself to furthering his knowledge on all topics of the arcane and done so from many vantages. It is fitting then, that his path and pursuit of knowledge would take him to his current position as the Dean of Curriculum here at the Grey School of Wizardry.
Arthur Kingsley has been an Apprentice Wizard at the Grey School since 2015, and as of 2018, manager of Magick Alley - the official school store. His fields of interest include the departments of Wizardry, Lifeways, Divination, Wortcunning, Lore, and Performance Magicks, and he is interested in pursuing a Major in Wizardry and the Prism Minor.
In the summer of 2018, both he and Provost Nicholas Kingsley traveled together to the great state of California where they where they met and worked with Headmaster Oberon Zell to achieve his vision of a new and improved Magick Alley. Since then, the school store has evolved with a new website, GSW Class Rings, new Arcane tools and supplies, scarves, robes, a book selection covering several departments of GSW study, and more improvements are made regularly.
In 2021, Arthur assisted with the construction of the GSW Conclave Grounds in historic Whitehall, New York, where he and others created staircases made of large stones, cleared and dug paths, decorated with lights, and built platforms for camping. Their work lent itself to the success of the 2021 Summer Conclave and paved the way for future conclaves and school events in the several-acer hilltop wilderness of GSW's Conclave Grounds.
When he is not studying to reach his Journeymanship or diligently preparing orders for delivery, Arthur works through the nights in a warehouse, where he also prepares orders for delivery. He spends his free time at home with his family in upstate New York, where he explores his interests in art, history, nature, travel, and local culture.

Emrys Starhawk holds an impressive knowledge of the occult and spiritual as a Practitioner of magick for well over a decade.
In his occult practices, Dean Starhawk finds that he favors ceremonial magick and the magick of nature as he takes a druidic path through life and it's mysteries. In addition to a working and living knowledge of druidic lore, Emrys is a certified Reiki practitioner in the honored Usui tradition which allows his passion for healing others to find a potent place in his personal and professional practices as a Wizard.
In his life away from School, Dean Starhawk is an Independent Catholic Priest in the Independent Sacramental Movement as well as a member of the Healthcare industry. Working long hours in service to his community aboard ambulances Dean Starhawk works hard ensuring that those who find themselves at their worst, have their best shot.
For Homelife, Starhawk is happily married to his lovely wife and shares a home with their two excitable dogs and three wonderful cats, although it is rumored by some that a couple of the cats believe they're dogs.
In 2008 Guy took the Magickal name of silverlocke when he discovered Magick from a book he found in the local B&N: ‘Grimoire for the Apprentice Wizard' by Oberon Zell-Ravenheart.
Although the only thing he knew about Magick was that James Randi told him it didn't work and Houdini had debunked it thoroughly, silverlocke forced his skeptical mind open and studied hard and long for nearly six years to graduate as a Journeyman Wizard of the Grey School of Wizardry.
He is a Solitary Eclectic as well as a Pagan, a Wiccan, a Witch, and a Warden, all while retaining his scientific reasoning, objectivity, skepticism and most of his Agnosticism.
He has recently been greatly honored to be selected to the post of Grey Warden under the aegis of Oberon Zell and the Grey Council and hopes that what he learns can be of service to his communities.
Jim "Raven" Stefanowicz is a Pagan Priest, Wizard, and Psychic Reader based in Philadelphia, PA. A member of the Church of All Worlds, Raven believes that everything is alive and interconnected, and strives each day to embrace the teachings of nature and the divinity therein.

Katy Ravensong has been a practicing Green Witch living in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains for many moons. Not only does she employ her trade as a mother, but also as a grandmother, student, and a crafter of wondrous arcane goods as well as herbal remedies.
One of Dean Ravensong's great passions is to get her hands in the dirt; which she finds to be a deeply grounding experience. As a master of the time honored art of Wortcunning, Dean Ravensong makes her potions and brews mostly from the weeds that grow locally, being able to identify those useful herbs from the common flora.
As a woman of many skills Dean Ravensong is also a master crocheter and as such, a proud and talented Magick Alley vendor. While she struggles with some physical disabilities that does not stop this Master Wizard from being a healer, albeit a bit of an unconventional one, to be sure.
Regardless, Dean Ravensong's wish to help others as she has been helped by those who came before her serves to inspire her charges and peers alike.
Larry Shirley exploits the diversity of his religious and spiritual background to bring a unique perspective to the Grey School of Wizardry. His Baptist, Methodist, Evangelical, Thalamic, and Mormon history from his early years intermingles with his vast exposure to consciousness exploration and avant-garde spirituality, tempered by his various Wiccan experiences and mystical practices for the past 20 years.
A Naval Officer, Engineer, Physicist, and Computer Scientist by trade, Larry interleaves his professional training into his quest for spiritual wareness and comprehension. Larry has been in the public Pagan forum since the late 80's. Sometimes noted for his early work entwining diverse spiritual practices with Wicca, Larry has been an embarrassment to fundamentalists from many traditions for well over a decade. Larry's recent work in psychic energy has captivated hundreds in his self-discovery classes.
A Distinguished Toastmaster, off Broadway New York actor, trained in NLP, holistic healing, and a diverse set of other spiritual disciplines, Larry's spontaneous entertaining style typically delights his students and challenges them to excel in their class work.
Malcorr began his apprenticeship at the Grey School in 2010, having no background in the mystical or occult. His interests include Defense Against the Dark Arts and Magickal Tools, which are his major and minor, respectively.
During his enrollment, after a couple years away, Malcorr also served as the Captain in the Apprentice Leadership, as well as Vice Captain and multiple terms as the Flames' Lodge Prefect. During this time, he has helped with in-processing Discord or vGSW applications, and assisted with the process of integrating technologies and live-streaming some of the virtual moots and celebrations. Malcorr, additionally, has traveled out to visit and assist with the GSW conclave grounds.
Now, while continuing his education, Malcorr helps with handling account and tuition issues, along with other projects as the School and Faculty need.
A devotee of Hermes and Dionysus, Markos Guasón has traveled the path of the Fool and the Magician for eleven years by way of art, adventuring, testing the limits of his mind and body.
He has crossed the North American continent many times and has even gone as far as Australia on his journey. He has studied under Dionysian gurus, free and accepted Masons, Antinoan lycanthropes, and a whole host of other walkers of the realms.
His mission in life is to aid his community in living a more embodied and enchanted existence and to fight against the forces that would try to prevent this.
He is eager to continue on his adventures and is confident that his career at the esteemed Grey School of Wizardry will be an invaluable part of his journey.
Nicholas Kingsley has been a student of the Arcane and mysterious for nearly two decades with his passion and focus being Wizardry.
Having grown up with the Grimoire for the Apprentice Wizard as his constant companion, Headmaster Kingsley is considered by many a true Wizard at heart, and a child of the teachings endorsed by the Grey School. He was welcomed onto the GSW faculty in the summer of 2017 at the age of twenty three, becoming the youngest Professor to ever teach at the school.
Headmaster Kingsley's day to day is filled with teaching at the Grey School as a Professor in the department of Wizardry, serving faithfully as Headmaster of the Grey School. In addition to all this He has also been known to found the odd magickal orders and undertakes other such projects of intrigue as need be/whim demands.
For more than 50 years, Oberon has written and published countless articles and several books on mysteries of history, Gaean thealogy, magick, shamanism, mythology, anomalies, cryptozoology, archaeology, cosmology, and related topics.
His best-selling Grimoire for the Apprentice Wizard (New Page Books, 2004) is an essential basic reference work that will continue to serve as a resource throughout the reader's lifetime. As a follow-up to the Grimoire, Oberon founded the online Grey School of Wizardry in 2004. Xenia Dragonseye joined the Grey School of Wizardry in June 2016 as an apprentice and and earned her Journeyman Certificate with a Major in Lifeways and two minors in Cosmology and Healthy Living.
Not only has this talented Wizard been a proactive member and prefect of the Society of the Four Winds during her time as an Apprentice but she showed some truly Winds Lodge Spirit when graduating magna laude from the Grey School of Wizardry in 2017. After a fantastic and engaged career as an Apprentice, Xenia became a faculty member in February 2017 and took on the role of leading the lodge she was once a part of as the Head of Lodges.
A Wizard of many talents, Dean Dragonseye holds a PhD in Linguistics, allowing her a most Wizardly perspective when it comes to the spoken word in its many forms. In addition to her PhD, Dean Xenia works diligently to provide a place of purpose and learning in her day job managing an office at a university.
For homelife, Dean Xenia is married to a devoted husband who is also a Wizard, and together they have a beautiful daughter who fills their lives with magick wonder.
