Alexander Sens is the Dean of the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences and the Markos & Eleni Tsakopoulos Kounalakis Professor of Hellenic Studies. He has been a faculty member at Georgetown University since 1991 and is the author or co-author of six books. He has published more than 50 articles, book chapters and encyclopedia entries and numerous book reviews. Alex is also the co-editor, with P. Knox and H. Pelliccia, of They Keep It All Hid: Augustan Poetry, Its Antecedents and Reception (Berlin, 2019). He is currently at work on a commissioned volume for the Loeb Classical Library that will include the Alexandra of Lycophron, the Phaenomena of Aratus and the works of Nicander.
Alex received his Ph.D. and M.A. from Harvard University and B.A. from Brown University. He teaches courses on Ancient Greek and Greek literature and studies the poetry of the late Classical and Hellenistic periods. He is particularly interested in the ways in which the authors of these ages engage with antecedent literature to create meaning in profoundly new literary and cultural contexts. In 2017, Alex received the Georgetown University President's Distinguished Scholar-Teacher Award.

Annie joined Georgetown in 2019 to envision, build and lead a new career center that would meet the specific career needs of graduate-level students. She comes to Georgetown with 22 years of experience, five within university career services, where she served as Director for Graduate Career Management at the George Washington University School of Business and career coach to MBA and M.S. students in the School of Business.
Prior to her work in career services, Annie spent 17 years in industry. She holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Rutgers University and an MBA from Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business.

Ansley is the Program Coordinator for the M.S. in Environmental Metrology and Policy and M.A. in Engaged and Public Humanities programs. She provides for a wide variety of programmatic needs and creates a stimulating atmosphere for students, faculty and alumni for both programs.
Prior to joining the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences, Ansley graduated from Georgetown University with a Master of Arts in Global, International, and Comparative History and maintains an active interest in German and Cold War history. She has a strong background in higher education administration and market research, and she is excited to bring these skills to her alma mater. When she is out of the office, Ansley enjoys experimenting in the kitchen and spending time outdoors.

Ashley is the Outreach & Engagement Manager for the M.S. in Data Science & Analytics program. She manages all student, career and alumni events, and supports and develops program communication channels, including the program website and social media.
Prior to joining the Data Science and Analytics team at Georgetown, she worked for several performing arts non-profits, most recently with Blumenthal Performing Arts in Charlotte, NC. She holds a B.A. in Theater from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.

Dexter leads the Office of Graduate Enrichment, which is responsible for creating co-curricular programming to support the graduate student experience at Georgetown. His office sponsors events such as Graduate Student Induction, the Graduate BBQ, Graduate Student Awards, DEI initiatives and Commencement. Dexter also advises Graduate Student Government (GradGov) and approximately 70 graduate student organizations.
Prior to serving in this office, Dexter served as Associate Director of Student Engagement & Leadership Initiatives at Wake Forest University. He has over 15 years of experience in education, which includes student engagement, academic support offices, college access initiatives, residence life and as a K-12 math instructor. Dexter earned his B.S. in Computer Science and M.Ed. in Mathematics from Fayetteville State University and his Ph.D. in Leadership Studies from North Carolina A&T State University. Outside of work he enjoys traveling, watching track & field and college football.

Christe leads all aspects of career management for the M.S. in Environment and Sustainability Management (MS-ESM) program, career advising enrolled students while building partnerships with alumni, industry professionals and employers. Career management includes identifying career paths and goals, developing effective networking strategies and interviewing with confidence. She offers individualized career coaching sessions and workshops focused on career development for currently enrolled MS-ESM students.
Christe's previous professional experience includes environmental, public health and sustainability work with non-profit, biotechnology and government agencies. She earned her B.S. in Biology from Howard University and a Master of Public Health from Drexel University School of Public Health. She formerly received certifications from the U.S. Green Building Council for LEED Green Associate and from the International Society of Sustainability Professionals (ISSP) for ISSP Sustainability Associate. She is a proud AmeriCorps alum and in her spare time enjoys traveling, photography and studying languages.

Dr. Caleb C. McKinney is an associate professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, associate dean of Graduate and Postdoctoral Training & Development for Biomedical Graduate Education (BGE) and assistant vice president (AVP) of Master's Program Administration and Development at Georgetown University Medical Center (GUMC). As AVP, Dr. McKinney leads the BGE masters and certificate program portfolio, and has extensive administrative experience across all academic and operational functional areas that span the student life cycle from prospect to graduate. As associate dean, his office implements marketing, outreach and recruitment, career development, training grant support, and administrative support for the Medical Center Graduate Student Organization and the Georgetown University Postdoctoral Association.
Dr. McKinney is also a principal investigator (MPI) and co-director of the NIH/NIGMS-funded Georgetown University Initiative for Maximizing Student Development (IMSD), a predoctoral T32 training program that provides interprofessional and interdisciplinary training and student development activities focused on enhancing biomedical workforce diversity. Dr. McKinney graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science in biology and a minor in applied economics and management. He then completed his doctorate degree in microbiology from New York University, a Master's in Professional Studies in design management and communications at Georgetown University, and the Harvard Macy Program for Educators in the Health Professions.

Kyra serves as the inaugural Assistant Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. In her role, she aims to serve three main goals. The first is fostering an inclusive environment where students can find a grounded sense of community and belonging during their Georgetown experience. Second, she aims to collaborate closely with students, faculty and staff across the university in an effort to highlight the essential nature of equity work at every level. Finally, she seeks to provide a culturally informed support system for students as they navigate their graduate education. Whether through DEI open houses, programming for first-generation students, writing workshops or facilitated discussions, the priority remains to create spaces where students can exist in the fullness of the identities and cultures to which they belong.
When not at work, you can find Kyra reading a great book, channeling her inner Effie White as she rewatches Dreamgirls yet another time, or laughing with her family and friends.

In her twenty-five years at the university, she has held positions in faculty research development and sponsored research administration, department and financial administration, and public relations and event coordination. Immediately prior to her current role, Maria served as director of the Office of Graduate Fellowships & Awards, supporting graduate student research development and support services.
Maria also serves as the Deputy Title IX Coordinator for graduate students on the Main Campus and in the Biomedical Graduate Education programs at Georgetown University Medical Center.

Prior to joining Georgetown, Zoe studied cognitive neuroscience and bioethics at the University of Virginia and worked at a behavior change agency focusing on youth obesity prevention and tobacco-use control efforts. Zoe is also a trained phlebotomist and enjoys learning about hematology. Her interests outside work include equestrian riding, running marathons, volunteering in the child life department at Georgetown Medstar Hospital and spending time with her family, friends and rescue pup, Jeffy.
