Dr. Berger found geology by accident as a result of interaction with an outstanding professor at a small liberal arts college. Her undergraduate experience comparing modern and ancient reef environments served as a jumping-off point for graduate work in hydrology, where she investigated the chemical processes governing toxic drainage from an abandoned metal mine in New Mexico. Amy's educational goals stem from her desire for effective communication methods between Earth and environmental scientists and the general community. She currently works to develop role-playing games that immerse students in real-world environmental problems to encourage them to develop their own innovative solutions. Dr. Berger's creative side emerges in the form of fiber arts such as knitting and spinning, and in periodic theatrical appearances in both Heidelberg and Ritz Theatre productions. She also sings in the Heidelberg University-Community Choir. She serves on the Society for Values in Higher Education Board of Directors and National Association of Geoscience Teachers. She also facilitates the Summer Workshop for College Teachers in China Program and is an educational live-action role-playing game designer.

Anne Anderson joined Heidelberg University as the Dean of the School of Business and Adams Family Endowed Chair in January 2023. Prior to coming to Heidelberg, she was the Weatherford Chair of Finance at Middle Tennessee State University from August 2018 to December 2022. From 2003 to 2018, she was on the faculty of Lehigh University. In 2009, she was named the Joseph R. Perella & Amy M. Perella Chair in Finance. She earned her PhD in Finance in 2003 from the University of Arizona, an MBA from the University of Tulsa in 1998, and a BS from the United States Military Academy in 1987. Upon graduation from USMA, Dr. Anderson served in the US Army Corps of Engineers and completed several major projects to include adding 9 holes to a golf course in Savannah, Georgia and building an orphanage in Honduras.

Huntington became the 14th president of Heidelberg University on July 1, 2009. Since his arrival, he has prioritized the strengthening of Heidelberg's core student mission of education excellence, full engagement, total success, 4-year graduation, and preferred placement. Heidelberg has become more contemporary and relevant for students, sharpening its focus on the needs and priorities identified in the Academic Strategic Initiatives for Improvement Plan (ASIIP) and the Academic Strategic Programs Prioritization Plan (ASPPP). More than $100 million has been raised over the past 13 years, including through the highly successful Academic Comprehensive Campaign for Excellence (ACCE) that raised $77.2 million when it finished in June 2021. Heidelberg continues to invest in new academic programs, faculty and staff, innovative teaching and learning, campus technology, and new or renovated facilities for academics, athletics, and residential living under his leadership.
