Addison Gardner

Addison earned her Bachelors degree from Kansas State University and her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Friends University. She has additional training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, and Parent and Child Interaction Therapy. She provides services to a broad range of ages - as young as 2 and up to 80+. She provides individual therapy, couples therapy, and family therapy. Her areas of focus include depression, anxiety, and trauma among others. She strives to provide a safe space for all individuals to process through different events, or emotions that they are experiencing.

Alyssa Carter

Alyssa holds a Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Friends University. She has worked with individuals, families, and couples. Some of her methods include play therapy and sandtray training, as well as couples communication. Alyssa also utilizes mindfulness and body awareness as needed in the therapy room. Alyssa has worked with anxiety, grief, depression, divorce, parenting issues, premarital issues, spiritual issues, and trauma. Amy has worked in acute mental health care in the hospital setting for over 20 years. She enjoys working with patients in crisis and helping them get better quickly so they are able to get back to their daily routine. She is licensed wo work with all ages from children to adults to geriatrics. Amy provides at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center where she is the psychiatric consultant for the hospital and psychiatric-mental health liaison for the Emergency Department. Ashley is the Manager of the Same Day Access services at Horizons Mental Health Center. Ashley graduated from Emporia State University in Emporia KS, with a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Minor is Sociology. During her time at Emporia State University, she was a member of the Psi Chi International Honors Society in Psychology. During her clinical internship, she provided services to the Severe and Persistent Mentally Ill population. After graduating, Ashley practiced therapy in southern Colorado through a community mental health center. At that time, she worked as a generalist, providing services to all age ranges and diagnoses. Ashley also provided support and services in crisis, intake, psycho-education group and triage. During this time, she received training in Solution Focused Therapy and trained with The Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in Philadelphia, PA. Ashley then furthered her experience by completing a course with the University of Massachusetts in Integration after which, she helped start a successful integration program with the local hospital system. Ashley is a Licensed Master's Level Psychologist in the state of Kansas. Ashley previously worked on the Horizons' Outpatient Therapy team, but now is working in the Same Day Access Department. Currently she provides intake and crisis services to Reno, Barber, Pratt, Kingman and Harper counties. Ashley also specializes in psychological testing, specifically ADHD, IQ, Mood and Anxiety testing.

Becca Oberle

Becca received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Sterling College and then attended Newman University where she earned a Master of Social Work Degree. She is a member of both Phi Alpha Honor Society and Pi Gamma Mu International Honor Society. She is currently receiving training for play therapy and has several years experience working with children and families, providing family therapy. Becca prefers using Attachment Theory and Family Systems Theory in her work, but also utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Theory, solution-Focused, Mindfulness, and Strengths Based depending on the needs of the client. She spent the first 25 years of her career at Horizons as Department Head of Community Support Services, working with adults with Severe and Persistent Mental Illness, she now provides Behavioral Health Consultations at the Hutchinson Clinic. In addition, Beth also teaches Mental Health First Aid (Teen, Youth and Adult versions), ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) and QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer - suicide prevention).

Before his current position Bill was VP of Clinical Services at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center and was the Director of Radiation Therapy at St. Johns Hospital in Salina, Kansas. Bill is married and has one daughter. Hobbies of his include horseback riding, farming, ranching, and golf.

Bob Fee

Bob Fee, vice president of Fee Insurance Group and vice president of the board, is a native of Hutchinson. He joined the family business after graduating from University of Kansas and has been involved in many professional and local community organizations during his career. Bobbie Cooprider

Bobbie Cooprider is the Child Advocacy Center Outpatient Therapist. She is currently EMDR trained, a trained forensic interviewer and is a certified Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and is working toward certification in Parent Child Interaction Therapy. Bobbie is a graduate of Newman University in Wichita, KS with a Master of Social Work degree. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Behavioral Psychology from Ashford University in Clinton, Iowa. Prior to joining HRHS in July of 2015 he was the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and CISO for Chicago's Mt. Sinai Health System. He earned his Master's degree in Information System Security from DePaul University and his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Northeastern Illinois University; both in Chicago. Retired from the US Air Force, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children, restoring his 1979 El Camino, flying drones, motor cycling and completing Smart Home Automation.

Jane Holzrichter has a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Kansas and is the Director of the Child Advocacy Center and Prevention Services at Horizons Mental Health Center. She is a Licensed therapist and specialized in trauma. Since 1992, Jane has coordinated the Personal Safety Awareness Program in over 85 school districts and implemented the program in six states. Annually, Jane presents to over 4,000 children and adults in 43 elementary schools in South Central Kansas. She has conducted over 1,800 forensic interviews and received her formal training from American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children and Finding Words of West Virginia and Child First. In 2003, she was instrumental in securing over 2.25 million dollars to implement Finding Words of Kansas. Currently, she is serving on the National Children's Alliance Center as a Site Reviewer accrediting CAC's in the country and the Behavioral Science Regulatory Board's Advisory Council. Jane brings a wealth of knowledge to both mental health and child maltreatment issues and is respected in her field through the education, judicial, legal, medical and mental health disciplines.

Jessica Flax

Jessica Flax is the Director for the Hutchinson Regional Medical Foundation (HRMF). Flax, a 2005 graduate of Buhler High School, attended Fort Hays State University on a scholarship to play volleyball, and graduated with a degree in Business Management. For the past 13 years, she has been employed with business development and marketing firms, as well as the financial industry. The idea for a foundation was incubated in the early 1970s when final plans were being drawn to establish what is now Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. Contributors stepped forward with donations of farmland, oil and gas leases, and cash contributions. As the nation's economy grew and the stock market rose, the investments increased.

Leighann Dixon

Leighann is an LMSW who wishes to support her community by listening and providing access to services for those in need. Leighann is originally from Florida and completed most of her schooling there. Leighann attended the University of South Florida with her Bachelor's in Social Work, She then went back to complete her Master's in Social Work from Saint Leo University. Leighann started with Horizons in 2015 as an Attendant Care Worker while finishing up her degree. She believes that this gave her a great sense of how the agency works and the value to clients in every service it provides. Her passion as a clinician is to work with children and young adults who are experiencing difficulty with moods. Mike Juby, C.P.A., is board secretary/treasurer. A tax manager for an accounting firm until 2005 and CFO for Wells Enterprises until 2008, he currently is business manager for Dillon Investments. Mike believes that Hutchinson has a proud tradition of providing quality healthcare throughout the region and desires to help insure that the accomplishments of the past are continued and improved for the future. He moved to Hutchinson in 1985 with his wife, Kathy. They have 3 sons. Mike enjoys running, football and most notably, wrestling. Vikki Mader has over 15 years of experience in the health care industry and has spent the last 5 years in community mental health. Vikki served as the Program Director for the Certified Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) initiative and the Health Information Management Director at Horizons. As the program director she managed the SAMHSA CCBHC grant, overseeing clinical, operational, and financial implementation of the CCBHC model of care. She helped guide Horizons to successfully becoming certified by the State of Kansas as a CCBHC, one of the first mental health centers in the state. Prior to coming to Horizons, Vikki was the Health Information Management and Quality Director at Pratt Regional Medical Center. While at Pratt Regional Medical Center, she was responsible for overseeing health information, quality, medical staff services, risk management, infection control, utilization review, and the patient access departments. Vikki recognizes that one constant in the healthcare industry today is continual change. She strives to create positive change that is aware of, and sensitive to, the impact change has on consumers, staff and the organization. Vikki has lived in Nickerson, Kansas for 20 years. She has been married for 33 years and has four children who graduated from Nickerson High School. Prior to moving to Nickerson, she lived in Ulysses, Kansas. "As CEO of Horizons I am honored to lead an organization that cares for those within our community who have a mental illness or those who are struggling with their mental health.
