Once behind in school, students experience that academic "bar" continually moving beyond their reach. Discouragement and frustration may develop as early as kindergarten. Research indicates that children who are behind in 3rd grade are likely to be behind in 9th grade. Hillside provides the instruction needed to close that skills gap and help children move into the future with competence, confidence and healthy self-esteem.
