Holly's Hill is completely focused on producing Rhone varietal wines. In fact, the estate vineyards are composed entirely of Rhone varieties including Viognier, Roussanne, Grenache, Mourvedre, Syrah, and Counoise. The winery produces both varietal wines, a dry Rosé, and red and white blends... Discover Holly's Hill in the ruggedly beautiful El Dorado wine region within the Sierra Foothills. We have spent decades as students and artisans of France's Rhone varietal wines. Here, we have combined our love for wine with our love of the majestic outdoors. Savor fine wines, our friendly atmosphere and sweeping views... Carrie grew up in Davis and after completing a BA in Romance Linguistics at the University of Washington and exploring other career paths, she turned her attention to wine. She began working and learning under a winemaker in El Dorado, the same area where her parents had planted their vineyard. Together, they created Holly's Hill Vineyards, focusing on Rhone-style wines.
