Anna-Marie Pampellonne

Charles Horton

Charles and his family moved to Kuala Lumpur in 2018 having previously lived in Beijing for 15 years. Charles brings to the Board a strong background in both Financial Management and legal procedures having worked for a mutual fund sub-advisory firm and previously in the legal profession. Charles has served as an invited member of the Finance and Governance Committees. Through this experience, he has gained valuable insight into the Board's role and the way it conducts itself. He is well-equipped to identify, to understand, and to extrapolate on situations that may confront the school from time-to-time. Charles is an appointee to the Board and continues to be a member of the Governance Committee. Charles and his wife Sara have one boy in the school in Grade 12.

CHRISTINA DECU

Chu Kok Wei

Chu holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics, as well as a Master's of Science in Finance and Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science, University of London. He is recently appointed as the Co-CEO for the Wholesale Banking business at CIMB Group, after heading the treasury and financial markets business for the past seven years. Chu is also an accredited Chartered Banker by the Chartered Banker Institute of UK, and a CFA charterholder. He and his wife, Sim Yoon are blessed with four children, three of whom are in ISKL. They hope to bring more local perspectives and longevity of service to the school. Chu is an appointed member of the Board and serving as vice chair on the Finance Committee.

Erica Wong

Erica and her family moved to Kuala Lumpur in 2020. She has lived and worked in London and Seoul. Erica currently works for the Centre for Longitudinal Studies in University College London's Social Research Institute as a Survey Manager and also works part-time as a writing coach for professors and graduate students. Erica has been an active member of her children's previous schools, serving on the PTA board and undertaking many other volunteer positions. As a sociologist and survey methodologist, Erica's particular strength is in data collection and analysis. Within the past year, Erica has developed creative and innovative approaches to adapt her area of expertise in the now online and physically distanced environments. She holds a BA in Sociology from Dartmouth College and an MA and PhD in Sociology from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. Erica is an appointed member of the Board serving as a member of the Governance Committee and holds the position of Board Secretary. Erica and her husband Dan have two children in school, in Grade 12 and Grade 9.

Kian Meng

Kian Meng is a Malaysian who was born and lived in Johor, he and his family moved from Johor to KL in 2018 for their son to study at ISKL. Kian Meng is a businessman who has many years of experience in exporting furniture products from Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, India and China to North America, Europe, Middle East and Asia markets. Before moving to KL, Kian Meng was a Board Director for 8 years at Chung Hwa Presbyterian Primary School, Johor. Kian Meng is an appointed member of the Board and he is a member of the Finance Committee and is looking forward to supporting the school on the Board. Kian Meng and his wife Carol have a son at ISKL in Grade 4.

Mark Van Cott - Treasurer

Mark and his family returned to KL in 2016 after twenty years in Hong Kong and Taiwan. Mark grew up in West Texas and met his wife Janet, a Malaysian, while at Yale University. They long hoped to bring their four children back to KL and ISKL made that an easy choice and a very smooth transition. Mark was a Managing Director at a global investment bank, and in his almost two decades there worked in various execution and management positions within the Mergers and Acquisitions, Private Equity and Equity Derivatives/Convertibles Departments. Since leaving full-time Investment Banking, Mark has taken up a number of volunteer roles. He is the Scoutmaster for Troop 818 at ISKL and has been involved in Scouting in Malaysia since 2016. Mark is a board member of the Young Investors Society (YIS), a global financial literacy program, and is passionate about helping educate young people in this area. He is a parent advisor to the ISKL Chapter of the YIS Club. Mark and Janet have four children, three ISKL graduates and an 11th grader.

Nauman Malik

Nauman is the Chairman and CEO of Kansai Paint Asia Pacific. Nauman holds an MBA from Lahore University of Management Sciences and a Masters in Development Planning from University College London. Nauman, and now his children, attended international schools around the world which makes him well aware of the challenges and opportunities from both a student and a parent perspective. Nauman hopes to bring his multiple, yet unique perspectives to the Board to enable it to address complex issues effectively keeping in view the long-term vision of the school. Nauman joined the Board in 2020 and is a member of the Governance Committee. Nauman and his wife Sara have three children, one ISKL graduate, and a ninth and a third graders.

Radhika Savant-Mohit

Rashi Khangura

A sense of adventure was instilled in Rashi from a young age when her parents relocated the family from Toronto, Canada to the beautiful small town of Johnson City, Tennessee, USA. Rashi has lived in over 15 cities throughout Bangladesh, Canada, India and USA. She has felt at home in every place because of the wonderful people that welcomed her along this journey. Through these experiences, she can offer a unique perspective on the world around us and life here at ISKL. She is a Certified Fraud Examiner by trade, but Rashi's passion is listening, learning and making simple improvements that result in dramatic change. She looks forward to working with school leadership, teachers, parents and other board members to continually improve the school. Rashi is starting her first year on the Board and is a member of the Finance Committee. Rashi and her family moved to Kuala Lumpur in November 2021. Rashi and her husband have two children at ISKL, a son in Grade 5 and a daughter in Grade 7.
