Amber Abeln's services include treating various skin cancers and multiple dermatologic skin disorders. Her special focus is Aesthetic Anti-Aging procedures. Amber is certified in Neurotoxin Injections (Botox) treating crows feet, eleven lines, frown lines and correction of submental fullness. She is experienced with dermal fillers correcting mid-face volume loss, laugh line correction, and lip contouring.
Dr. Glascock is board certified in Family Medicine. She accepts patients of every age to help address their healthcare needs, taking care of patients of every age and creating custom health plans for them.
Dr. Glascock is a board-certified Family Medicine primary care physician. She came to JCMG from Illinois where she had a practice for 4 years; many of her patients followed her here because of the trust they have in her care. Dr. Glascock wanted to be a doctor since the first grade-now she's living her childhood dream, taking care of patients of every age and creating custom health plans for them. Dr. Glascock is married and has two miniature yorkies and enjoys running, reading and online shopping.
Bret Gerstner is a Physician Assistant practicing general orthopaedics and collaborating with Dr. Craighead. He sees patients for general orthopaedic concerns.
Certifications Amber is a Board Certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and a Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant. She is also a certified Critical Care RN, certified in Botox and Dermal fillers and Advanced Life Support.
As an endocrinologist, Dr. Case cares for patients with diabetes, obesity, osteoporosis, cholesterol disorders, diseases of the thyroid, and adrenal and pituitary glands. During his fellowship, he concentrated on obesity, weight loss, metabolic syndrome, and new developments in cardiovascular disease prevention. He also has an interest in clinical research as part of his patient care.
Dr. Case is an exercise enthusiast and a fan of major league baseball and the Missouri Tigers. He is a native of Jefferson City, graduating as valedictorian from Helias High School.

As a general surgeon, Dr. Brandon Jenson works closely with patients and their physicians to diagnose and provide timely surgical treatment for conditions involving hernias, soft tissue, and the digestive system (esophagus, stomach, gallbladder, small intestine, and colon/rectum). Dr. Jenson specializes in acid-reflux surgery and hiatal hernia repair.

A native of St. Louis, Dr. George Carr has been with JCMG from its founding in 1993. As a family physician, he diagnoses and treats acute and chronic illnesses in patients of all ages. His kind and helpful demeanor provides a calm and friendly environment as he serves his patients in areas of disease prevention, health maintenance, patient education. A family man, who enjoys the outdoors, sports, and staying active in our community.
Dr. Jodi Burns Berendzen grew up knowing that she wanted to become a physician. She was greatly influenced by her own family physician, the late Dr. Thomas Hancock, who treated each patient with a genuine kindness that is remembered by many. Jodi Burns is a native of Linn, Missouri, and graduated from Helias High School in 1999.
She attended St. Louis University, and then continued her education at St. Louis University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN.
She married Jeff Berendzen, and their lives are very busy raising four young children! "While many days are quite chaotic, it's those four wonderful kiddos that bring so much joy into our lives." She and her husband made the choice to come back "home" to Jefferson City so their children would have many of the opportunities they each had, especially spending time with grandparents and extended family. It is her personal experiences that allow Dr. Berendzen to relate so well to her patients.
She strives to give each patient personalized attention, up-to-date clinical knowledge, and a genuine kindness modeled by great physicians. "As a physician, I can be a part of some of the very happiest moments of life, as well as some of the most difficult challenges when there are complications with pregnancy or the emotional and physical changes that occur with age. I am honored to be a part of the journey, and that is why I love the job I do."
Dr. Berendzen has special interests in preconception and prenatal care, adolescent health education, abnormal uterine bleeding, and routine well-woman exams. - Surgeon With JCMG Orthopaedics
Dr. Jonathan Craighead is an orthopaedic surgeon with JCMG Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine. His expertise is in general orthopaedics with a focus on joint replacement surgery and sports medicine. He also provides orthopaedic trauma care and performs multiple surgeries for fractures.
Dr. Craighead is one of the few surgeons in mid-Missouri to offer anterior hip replacement surgery and reverse shoulder replacement surgery. He has a special interest in outpatient joint replacement surgery and has pioneered the outpatient joint replacement surgery program at the JCMG Surgery Center. This program allows patients to return home on the same day as their joint replacement surgery. Dr. Craighead utilizes the most current and minimally invasive techniques to improve patient care and minimize recovery time.
Dr. Craighead is vice-president of JCMG and a practicing orthopedic surgeon. He also serves as president of the JCMG Surgery Center. Dr. Craighead joined JCMG in 2005.

As a nurse practitioner, Dwight treats patients of all ages in the express care clinic for various acute illnesses and injuries. He can treat immediate, non-emergent health concerns, in addition to providing wellness services and immunizations. Patients may be seen for any conditions that are non-life threatening but cannot wait for a doctor's appointment.
As an internist, Dr. Baskar provides non-surgical comprehensive care of common and complex illnesses of adults. She treats medical problems from the common cold to serious chronic illnesses. She has a special interest in women's health and screenings, diabetic management, GERD and peptic ulcer disease, and breast cancer screening and treatment.
Dr. Patrick is president of JCMG and a practicing radiologist. He joined JCMG in 1997.
Dr. Sides is treasurer of JCMG and a practicing rheumatologist. He joined JCMG in 2004.
Dr. Duke is secretary of JCMG and a practicing podiatrist. He joined JCMG in 2006, when he founded JCMG Podiatry.
