Ashley Dumas is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Director at the University Counseling Center. Ashley returned to Lipscomb to join the Student Life team in August 2020. Previously Ashley served for eight years as Lipscomb's Director of Disability Services and therapist in the Counseling Center. In her current role as Director of the University Counseling Center, Ashley provides counseling and supervises graduate student interns. She also teaches as adjunct faculty in the Marriage and Family Therapy program. Ashley is licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in Tennessee and is a Clinical Fellow and an Approved Supervisor with the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). Ashley grew up in Alabama and earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Vocational Ministry from Harding University. She received her Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University. Ashley also has experience working in community mental health with a broad spectrum of areas including women's issues, life transitions/adjustment issues, depression, anxiety, trauma, and premarital and marriage counseling. Ashley enjoys being outdoors, spending time with her son, cooking, and listening to good music.

Brian Mast is interim executive vice president. Previously, he served as vice provost at Lipscomb University. Prior to accepting the vice provost appointment, Brian served as the 6th president and CEO at Mount Dora Christian Academy in Mount Dora, Florida. In 2012, Brian was hired to open the Academic Success Center and oversee retention efforts at Lipscomb University. Brian has led Lipscomb to numerous institutional retention records and record 4-, 5- and 6-year graduation rates.

As the chief enrollment officer for the university, Byron Lewis oversees undergraduate and graduate admission as well as student financial services. Prior to his appointment at Lipscomb, he served in several leadership capacities at SMU in Dallas, Texas including Associate Dean of Admission, Interim Dean of Admission and Executive Director of Enrollment Services. He has worked in K-12 and higher education since 2001, serving on the senior leadership team as Director of College Counseling in the Upper School at Greater Atlanta Christian and Associate Director of Admission at Freed-Hardeman University. His professional career also includes working in marketing and sales for Sony Music, Dell Inc., and May Company before beginning his career in higher education.

Darrell W. Duncan

Darrell Duncan was appointed the VP of Finance at Lipscomb University on July 15, 2020. Prior to his appointment, Duncan helped Lipscomb achieve its record breaking growth as AVP of Finance through strategic financial analysis, lean six sigma competencies, and his outstanding finance and operations teams. Duncan is also entrepreneurial and has started various private equity companies. Prior to Lipscomb, Duncan was treasurer of the city of Brentwood, TN and helped improve the city's public bond rating and increased public safety. Before serving as treasurer, Duncan was an audit and tax professional at KraftCPAs in Nashville, TN, where his experience included for-profit entities, not-for-profit and governmental entities. Duncan is currently a VP of SACUBO (the Southern Association of College and University Business Officers). Duncan is an actively licensed CPA in the state of Tennessee with a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from the University of Villanova. Duncan has a Master of Accountancy degree from the University of Alabama and a Master of Business Administration degree from Lipscomb University. Duncan has also served as a volunteer finance reviewer for SACSCOC (the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges) on offsite and onsite accreditation visits.

A Lipscomb graduate, Elrod brings 39 years of engineering and leadership experience from the aerospace and defense industry. Elrod served as a vice president of Jacobs Technology and general manager of Aerospace Testing Alliance, a joint venture that operated and maintained the world's largest collection of aerospace ground test facilities for the USAF. Elrod's last six years in industry were spent leading business development efforts supporting strategic growth and serving nationally critical needs. Being part of a family with four generations of Lipscomb graduates, Elrod appreciates the importance of a faith-based education. Elrod serves as a shepherd and teacher at church and enjoys reading, camping, farming and spending time with his family.

Dr. Allison Duke is dean of Lipscomb University's College of Business and professor of management. As dean, Dr. Duke leads the development of strategic initiatives and innovative academic curriculum within the college. She also teaches courses in Organizational Behavior and Talent Management in the graduate and undergraduate programs. Prior to joining Lipscomb, Dr. Duke was a Human Resources Manager at Aspect Communications and Progeny Marketing Innovations. Dr. Duke earned a Ph.D. in Management from The University of Mississippi, an MBA from Lipscomb University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Education from Murray State University. Her research interests include social influence processes, mentoring relationships, and political skill. Her research has been published in Leadership Quarterly, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Leadership and Organizational Studies, Management Decision, Social Influence, and Journal of Applied Social Psychology. In addition to her role at Lipscomb University, Dr. Duke is a consultant specializing in leadership team health, performance management, and training and development. She uses academic research to diagnose flaws in traditional HR systems and designs new programs focused on meeting organizational objectives including higher employee engagement, reduced turnover, and more effective team and organizational performance. Allison has been recognized as a Nashville Business Journal Woman of Influence, Nashville Emerging Leader, Outstanding Teacher at Lipscomb University, and Best Paper author at the Academy of Management. She is also Past President of the Youth Encouragement Services board, a non-profit organization that provides after-school services for inner-city children.

Dr. Candice McQueen became Lipscomb University's 18th president in September of 2021. Dr. Candice McQueen began her tenure as Lipscomb University's 18th president in September 2021. She has more than 25 years of experience in education spanning classroom teaching, higher education leadership, state government and nonprofit sectors. In her first three years in office, Dr. McQueen set records including welcoming Lipscomb's largest three classes of new students and overseeing the three largest giving days in university history. Dr. McQueen also launched a compelling new strategic plan, visited alumni in 15 cities on her Be a Light tour, started a new President's Student Advisory Council, brought back beloved student traditions like Beautiful Day, and opened the new Center for Vocational Discovery. She was also recently named Most Admired CEO by the Nashville Business Journal. Prior to her appointment at Lipscomb, Dr. McQueen was CEO of the National Institute of Excellence in Teaching, a national nonprofit founded by the Milken Education Foundation to encourage and incentivize teaching excellence in states, districts, universities and classrooms across the country. From January 2015 - January 2019, Dr. McQueen served as Tennessee Commissioner of Education under former Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam. In this role, McQueen collaborated with 147 school districts, hundreds of non-public and charter schools to serve the one million students in the state of Tennessee. During her tenure, Tennessee saw its highest graduation rates, ACT scores, postsecondary attendance and investments in teacher salaries in the state's history to that point. Before becoming the state's top education official, Dr. McQueen served Lipscomb University as dean of the university's College of Education and as senior vice president, which included oversight of Lipscomb Academy, the institution's 1,300-student preK2-12th grade college preparatory school. She joined Lipscomb's education faculty in August 2001, serving as chair of the undergraduate education department before her appointment as dean of the College of Education in 2008. Under her leadership, Dr. McQueen led the college through tremendous growth and to state and national recognition for excellence in teacher preparation and teaching outcomes. She was also the founding director of Lipscomb's Ayers Institute for Teacher Learning and Innovation that launched in 2012. Dr. McQueen began her career in education as a teacher in private and public elementary and middle schools in Texas and Nashville, was on adjunct faculty at Vanderbilt University and was an assistant instructor and supervisor of student teachers at the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. McQueen has a Bachelor of Science degree from Lipscomb University, a Master of Education from Vanderbilt University and a Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin. She is an alum of Leadership Tennessee, Leadership Nashville and Chiefs for Change. She serves on the boards of the Nashville Health Care Council, Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce, United Way, Goodwill, Tennessee Independent Colleges and Universities and the National Institute for Excellence in Teaching. Dr. Hope Nordstrom is the special counsel to the president for strategy and leads the Office of Strategic Planning & Continuous Improvement. She is also associate professor of strategic leadership and mostly recently served as director of the Center for Teaching & Learning. As director, she provided administrative oversight and was directly involved in all center programming in order to bolster faculty teaching and improve student success. Eidson joined Lipscomb University College of Pharmacy as an assistant professor of pharmacy practice in August of 2010. He teaches Pharmacy Law and Ethics and assists with coordinating continuing educational opportunities for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. Eidson is a member of the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy and has served as Vice-President and President of the Board. He has worked eight years with the State of Tennessee, Department of Health. He served as the State Strategic National Stockpile Director for two years, and was the Director of Pharmacy for the Department of Health for three years. Following these two positions, he served as the Executive Director of the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy for three years. Prior to his leadership in state government, Eidson was a pharmacist and pharmacy owner in community practice. He also gained experience in a long-term care pharmacy practice setting as manager of pharmacy operations.

Kim Chaudoin, vice president for communication and marketing at Lipscomb, has worked in the field of marketing and public relations for nearly 35 years. A third-generation Cuban-American, Laura Delgado has been working in the education field in Nashville for over 10 years, specializing in working with the Latino and immigrant communities of Nashville. Laura leads the Pionero Scholars program in the College of Education, which is a grow your own pipeline for Metro Nashville Public Schools graduates who want to become teachers. Laura works to recruit students from high school and runs programming to support Education majors during their college years. Laura also helps with programming on campus for students who are first in their family to attend college, or who are immigrants themselves. Laura and her husband Drew welcomed their first child, Sofia, into the world in May 2021.

Leonard Allen

C. Leonard Allen serves as dean of the College of Bible and Ministry at Lipscomb University. He taught Bible, theology, ethics, and philosophy at the graduate and undergraduate level for over twenty years, serving as visiting professor at Biola University, adjunct professor at John Brown University and Fuller Theological Seminary, and professor at Abilene Christian University. He has lectured widely on college campuses and in churches over the past thirty-five years on biblical, historical, and theological themes. He directed a university press for almost a decade, where he oversaw the editing and publication of many books on Scripture, theology, church history, Christian living, and Christian higher education. He holds a PhD in History of Christian Thought from the School of Religion at the University of Iowa and is the author or co-author of 15 books. These include The Cruciform Church: Becoming a Cross-Shaped People in a Secular World; Distant Voices: Discovering a Forgotten Past for a Changing Church; In the Great Stream: Imagining Churches of Christ in the Christian Tradition, and a recent memoir, The Bookroom: Remembrance and Forgiveness (2024).

Lindsay Bales serves as chief of staff in the Office of the President. Lindsay comes to Lipscomb from the Tennessee State Museum where she served as special assistant to the executive director. Austin has served as chair of the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Abilene Christian University (ACU), in Abilene, Texas for over seven years. Tom Campbell is the Dean and Professor in the Department of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Dr. Campbell received his Pharm.D. degree from the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy and received board certification in pharmacotherapy in 1995. Dr. Campbell was named Dean of the Year in 2024 by the American Pharmacists Association Academy of Student Pharmacists. His prior work experience includes a pharmacy practice residency with VA Medical Center in Memphis, Columbus Regional Health System in Columbus, Georgia, and Sanofi Pharmaceuticals. He also served as Clinical Assistant Professor at Auburn University. Dr. Campbell has served as President of the Tennessee Pharmacists Association and served on the Board of Directors. He is a member of AACP, ASHP, APhA, CPFI and TPA. Dr. Campbell is a Sunday school teacher and former elder at the Spring Meadows Church of Christ in Spring Hill, TN. He has traveled to Central America as part of medical mission campaigns numerous times. Dr. Campbell and his late wife, Susan, have three sons.

An expert in family, community, and public health, Turner's extensive and lauded academic career has included tenured professorships at Vanderbilt University, the University of Minnesota and the University of Kentucky. From 2007 to 2009, he worked for then Senator Barack Obama as a Robert Wood Johnson Health Policy Fellow to then Senator, now President, Barack Obama.
