Thanks to our generous federal, provincial, municipal and community partners, we build on a tradition of success and provide the leadership needed to protect what is natural and restore what has degraded in our watershed... ​The Lake Simcoe watershed has been inhabited by Indigenous Peoples since creation. We recognize the Williams Treaties First Nations, including the Chippewas of Georgina Island, Rama, Beausoleil, the Mississaugas of Alderville, Curve Lake, Hiawatha, the Credit and Scugog Island, as well as the Huron Wendat and the Metis Nation of Ontario - Region 7. We are committed to renewing our relationships and deeply appreciate their historic connection and unwavering care for this land and water... Since 1951, we have been dedicated to conserving, restoring and managing the Lake Simcoe watershed​.
