Brittany and her husband live in Lehi and are parents of 4 children with 2 currently attending Lincoln Academy. This is her first year serving as secretary for the school board. She has two bachelor degrees- a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Development and Family Studies. Brittany just ran her first Boston marathon and loves traveling.

Cade and his wife Kellie live in Pleasant Grove and are the parents of five daughters and one son. Cade serves on the Board of Trustees with responsibility over financial oversight and currently chairs the Audit Committee. Cade received his bachelors and masters degrees in Accounting from Brigham Young University and has spent the last 14 years working in the software / technology industry at Fishbowl Solutions LLC. Cade's primary interests include cycling, music, church service, and adventures with his family.

After graduating from BYU, Cherstyn lived in Washington, DC for ten years, working for members of both the House and the Senate. After Washington, she gained subsequent experience working with a Political Action Committee (PAC) in California, a PAC in Salt Lake City, then a think tank, The Sutherland Institute, and later joining their governing body, the GFC Foundation as Partner and Government Relations Manager. Cherstyn then joined Operation Underground Railroad (O.U.R.) for three years as their Director of Development, and that experience led her and her husband to ultimately create a new non-profit charity called Dahlia's Hope; a complete aftercare program here in Utah for survivors of sex trafficking. Cherstyn has served as a delegate in her local precinct, as Chair of her local high school's Community Council, the Board of her children's Charter School, and on the board of her children's charter school. She and her husband, Matt, reside in Pleasant Grove and are the parents of six children.

David has three children attending Lincoln Academy. He has served on the board since 2020. David received his Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Brigham Young University. He currently works as a Senior Project Manager with Big-D Construction. He brings over 25 years of experience to help Lincoln Academy address their current needs and grow into the future.

I was born and raised in Lehi, Utah where I enjoyed sports, academic achievement and family time. My love of sports took me to Dixie State College where I played football for two years, had opportunities to develop leadership skills as the Student Body President, graduated in Elementary Education and was lucky enough to meet Britten, the love of my life. Together, with our four children we enjoy spending time together camping and being outdoors. I enjoy reading, gardening and sports.
I discovered Lincoln Academy in the spring of 2006. I was immediately attracted to the people, facility, philosophy, parental support, and atmosphere Lincoln offered. As I taught, I tried to make subjects come alive. My classroom was a miniature city, complete with jobs, checks, insurance agents, city council, banks, and advertising agencies. We used pudding, cookies, and Jell-O to demonstrate plate tectonics. I had students sort beans to loud factory sounds, experience the fear of coming to a new country not knowing the language, and create their own Egyptian sarcophagus.

With a background as a speech pathologist and special education director, Miss Bailey recently completed her second master's degree in educational administration at Harvard. She will oversee Kindergarten through 5th grade, bringing her expertise and passion to our elementary school.

Sarah Chaffin has two daughters (6th and 3rd) attending Lincoln Academy. She has served since May of 2017 on the school board. Sarah is in charge of all things Musical Theater related for Lincoln. She loves the community and kindness Lincoln provides for everyone! Sarah has an AA degree in Vocal Performance/Musical Theatre from Casper Community College and a BFA in Vocal Performance from the University of Utah. Sarah's passion is teaching and serving in the community and loves watching her students learn and grow!
