Mr. McGurk is the founder and managing member of McGurk IP. His practice focuses on all facets of Intellectual Property Law. Mr. McGurk combines Patent and Intellectual Property experience with an extensive business background to provide his clients with a business-focused approach to protecting and leveraging their Intellectual Property. As an attorney, Mr. McGurk has worked with independent inventors and entrepreneurs, as well as mid-sized, large and multi-national corporations to address their intellectual property needs. Mr. McGurk has been a presenter at a variety of government, academic, commercial, and legal sponsored programs throughout the country and abroad on subjects including patent law, engineering, government regulations, and technology. Mr. McGurk holds a J.D. from Washington University, School of Law, a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Kentucky, College of Engineering, and a B.A. from Vanderbilt University. Mr. McGurk is admitted to practice in Georgia, Kentucky, and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He is a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association and the Intellectual Property Section of the State Bar of Georgia.
