We have a sister company, First Choice Homes (South West) Limited, which acts as a property developer, selling houses on the open market... We are a long running family business which was established in 1975. We employ a local team of six people as well as several sub contractors when needed. We cover all building projects..... T.W McCarten & Son was started by Terry McCarten in 1975 as a one-man-band doing small building jobs. The company then grew and employed three staff including Clive, Terry's son, and moved more into timber frame erecting, dry lining and artexing a few years later. Clive first started helping his father whilst he was still at school.
