Hannelie Becker

In her current position, Hannelie is responsible for the design, implementation and management of the commercial procurement function of McCain South Africa's inbound supply chain. Her focus also includes developing standardised procurement policies and procedures and contracts for all materials and services to realise business value and mitigate business risk. Prior to joining McCain, Hannelie held various positions at different organisations. These roles encompassed responsibilities such as Procurement Manager and Advisor, along with the role of Business Intelligence Manager. In these capacities, she was engaged in tasks such as formulating and executing strategies for supply chain intelligence, setting visions for the same, conducting benchmarking exercises, and offering support for policies related to Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE) Hannelie specialises in vendor optimisation, supply chain technologies, trends and best practices, contract drafting and the integration of systems, people and processes. Hannelie holds a bachelor's degree in business administration (commercial law and entrepreneurship, BBA) from the North-west University and an advanced diploma in sourcing and supply management from the Unisa Centre for Business Management.

Lorraine Makhura

Lorraine has almost two decades' experience in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector and is responsible for creating a healthy portfolio, and facilitating profitable and sustainable growth through relevant innovation and competitive advantage. In this role, she focuses specifically on stakeholder engagement, project and people management and incremental portfolio growth. Lorraine's background encompasses roles in the food industry, specifically in new product development and product optimisation. In her past position as a New Product Development Manager, she spearheaded projects and products, ensuring adherence to food regulations in the development process, refining processing technologies, and bolstering quality assistance. Prior to this, Lorraine served as a Senior Product Developer, where she fine-tuned recipes, managed continuous development pipelines, and assessed regulatory and legislative aspects. Lorraine holds a higher national diploma in food sciences and technology from the University of Johannesburg (UJ) and a packaging science diploma from the Institute of Packaging SA (IPSA). Lorraine has almost two decades' experience in the FMCG sector, and is responsible for creating a healthy portfolio and driving profitable and sustainable growth through relevant innovation and competitive advantage.

Nicolette Johannes - CFO

Nicolette brings a wealth of experience to the table, having previously served as a Finance Director in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) for five years. During this time, she demonstrated her strategic acumen by forming successful partnerships across various divisions, contributing significantly to sound business decisions and the attainment of set targets. Nicolette's professional trajectory has spanned diverse sectors, in addition to FMCG, including retail, auditing, accounting and technology. In addition to being a qualified chartered accountant, she also completed a Senior Management Development Programme (SMDP) at the University of Stellenbosch Business School.

Robert Mckenna

Robert is currently responsible for purchasing, inbound supply chain, manufacturing, capital projects, environmental management, safety, quality, warehousing, logistics, customer service and supply chain planning. He is a seasoned senior executive within the supply chain field, having worked as general manager, operational executive and subject matter expert across a spectrum of roles and business functions, spanning global blue-chip companies, ranging from high-tech aviation and engineering, to production, transportation, warehousing and procurement. Prior to joining McCain, he occupied prominent positions within the beverage sector. In one role, he functioned as the Planning Director for Africa, overseeing comprehensive supply chain operations across 14 countries. Moreover, he assumed the responsibility of a Supply Chain Operations Manager, contributing to the African division of a beverage-related organisation. Robert holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Cape Town (UCT) and a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) in industrial engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand (WITS).
