MONKS ORCHARD

At Monks Orchard, everything we do starts with our children and our community. We know our children as individuals; as young people with dreams and ambitions, skills and difficulties, likes and dislikes - not just as statistics... A Trust formed in April 2014 by Fairchildes Primary School, with our neighbours, Rowdown Primary, joining us in June of the same year. In September 2018, Monks Orchard Primary School in Shirley became the third school in the Trust... At Monks Orchard, staff work together, sharing best practice in order to create a happy school, where the working atmosphere is informal but focussed. We place great emphasis on teamwork and developing together, and provide a wide range of opportunities for teachers to work together and with others both in school and across the trust. We recognise that this benefits everybody in the school community.
