MLTPA is governed by an experienced board of directors who guide the organization through the implementation of its strategic plan: to lead, implement, and sustain. Board members have expertise in natural resource management, outdoor recreation, law, the private sector, and technology... MLTPA's mission is to create sustainable trail and recreation systems that support prosperous economies and healthy communities in Mammoth Lakes, the Eastern Sierra, and beyond. Our vision is to be an effective independent leader that connects all people with nature and natural landscapes... MLTPA has contracted with local, regional, state, and federal partners to deliver sustainable recreation services, including a number of succesful grant applications. Our contractual services and grant deliverables include project management, recreation system planning, and public engagement.
