Dr. Alan Messer - CTO

Dr. Alan Messer has been a worldwide leader in advanced software and intelligent services for connected consumers for more than 20 years. Alan leads InnovationShift, where he works with autonomous, automotive, consumer and IoT companies, helping define or revise their technology strategies. Formerly, he was Vice President of Software and Innovation and CTO of Global Connected Consumer Experience at General Motors, where he led GM's work on products, platforms and future technologies for the Connected Car and Services. Alan was also Vice President of Advanced Software Technology at Samsung Electronics, covering Internet of Things, Intelligence, Privacy, Mobile Social/Media, Content Delivery, and Cloud Services. He has worked at a variety other leading consumer electronics companies, including HP, Sony Electronics, and several startups. Currently, he also serves several industry organizations in advisory or board roles, including the Microsoft AI Advisory Council and the DAV Alliance.

Kenny Hawk - CEO

This is Kenny's sixth outing as CEO, indulging his passion for using technology to solve real world problems. He previously led teams at Various Inc., BrandBoards, Ubidyne, NemeriX, and iGo. His achievements include winning the GSMA Innovator of the Year Award; setting the world record for low power, smartphone GPS chipsets; and selling over $1 billion in mobile power accessories. At Mojio, Kenny is responsible for leading our high performance team with a focus on building a fast-paced, fun culture. This is Kenny's sixth outing as CEO, indulging his passion for using technology to solve real world problems. He previously led teams at Various Inc., BrandBoards, Ubidyne, NemeriX, and iGo. At Mojio, Kenny is responsible for leading our high performance team with a focus on building a fast-paced, fun culture. Kenny holds an MBA from Stanford, where he now guest lectures for the engineering entrepreneurship program. Not to be underestimated on the board - as well as in the boardroom - he was a semi-pro skateboarder as a teenager and can still do a handstand while riding. Kenny is also big rugby fan, and travels back to Michigan each year to play in the Alumni/Student match.

Kyle MacDonald

Kyle leads the Marketing squad at Mojio, and is responsible for branding, events, product marketing, public relations and everything in between. He loves jamming with designers and storytellers to bring our brand to life, but as a true team player you can catch him dipping his toes in product development and customer service. Kyle comes from an ad agency background, where he spent four years buying traditional media, writing print ads, and leading web development projects.

Markus Hummel

Markus is a high-tech entrepreneur with a passion for operational perfection, earning him the nickname of "Dr. Glue" by a former investor and board member. With humble beginnings as a hardware engineer 25 years ago, Markus has since grown to lead a variety of engineering and operations teams, including holding the role of VP of Operations at Ribbit, which was acquired by British Telecom. Markus is a high-tech entrepreneur with a passion for operational perfection, earning him the nickname of "Dr. Glue" by a former investor and board member. With humble beginnings as a hardware engineer 25 years ago, Markus has since grown to lead a variety of engineering and operations teams, including holding the role of VP of Operations at Ribbit, which was acquired by British Telecom. Markus holds a "Dipl-Ing. Nachrichtentechnik", which makes him a German Telecommunications Engineer by education. One of Markus' lifelong passions is music and can find him rocking out with his guitar on YouTube or Spotify. He also loves to travel with his family and works hard to stay fit, ensuring he can beat Kenny in a pull-up contest!

As CFO, Olivier brings financial leadership to Mojio. He brings more than two decades of experience in leading finance and operations roles with several high-growth technology companies across multiple market segments. As CFO, Olivier brings financial leadership to Mojio. He brings more than two decades of experience in leading finance and operations roles with several high-growth technology companies across multiple market segments. Before joining Mojio, Olivier was CFO at Algolia, a leading provider of search and discovery APIs for websites and mobile apps. Under his financial and strategic leadership, Algolia grew more than 100% year-over-year, and the team expanded from 15 to more than 300 employees. Prior to Algolia, Olivier held positions as CFO and management consultant for several venture-funded startups, such as Talend (NASDAQ: TLND) and Bonitasoft.
