(he/him & they/them) As a Licensed Masters of Social Work, I have experience working with adults struggling with substance use, anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief. I aspire to provide an inclusive and an affirming environment where clients can explore themselves freely. Therapy is a great way to strengthen one's sense of self and/or their identity. My training stems from psychodynamic therapy, however, I also use other modalities of therapy such as CBT and mindfulness.
Using a strengths-based approach to therapy, I acknowledge and emphasize the strengths of each individual I am working with. Even in times where it may feel difficult for a client to recognize strengths, my goal is to help each individual identify their resilience. In doing so, the ultimate objective is to set the foundation for my clients to create and reach goals associated with depression, anxiety, working through trauma, self-esteem, and major life transitions.
