The Office of Mediated Education (OME) is a central IT unit dedicated to providing innovative and reliable solutions to meet computing needs of K-State in the areas of teaching and learning as well as research, technology transfer and outreach. OME reports to the Office of the CIO... More than 35 full-time staff and part-time students make up the OME team. Our services and web applications are used daily at the Olathe, Salina, and Manhattan K-State campuses as well as research and extension facilities. In addition to our services and web applications, the many OME teams support the growing needs of our diverse community... We provide and maintain services and applications in support of the K-State academic mission. Services include: Event Capture and Live Streaming, Media Editing, Consultation and Creative Production, Instructional Capture, and Application Integration. Applications include: Canvas, K-State Enterprise Authentication (KEAS), Connect, Pulse and many others.
