Carter Hayes

Carter assists both the primary manager and assistant manager by supplying, maintaining and organizing materials on job sites. Additionally, he assists with ensuring quality and good practices are adhered to.

Dave Magee

Job Titles:
  • Construction Estimator
Dave works closely with professionals who include consultants, architects, engineers, sub-contractors, suppliers and construction personnel to provide the most accurate and comprehensive material and cost analysis of a project. After reviewing plans, Dave researches, sources and negotiates to obatin the best prices and quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.

Mark LaFlamme

Job Titles:
  • Construction Project Manager
Mark is well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures and coordinates sub contractors and suppliers efficiently to achieve the best results. He is a skillful delegator, adept at identifying crucial aspects of the project and prioritizing them. He visits each job daily to verify projects are completed per established scope, on time and to Oak's quality standards.

Matt Purnell

Job Titles:
  • Vice President, Construction Management
Matt started working part-time for the family business before graduating High School. Shortly after school, he joined the company as a full time carpenter. Matthew worked closely with his father learning the skills that had been passed down through his grandfather. He has since assumed the position of Vice President and has become the primary point of contact for both sub-contractors and customers. With over 26 years of experience, Matt continues to make visits to every project under construction to ensure they remain on schedule and to guarantee the high standards in workmanship that has been established.

Mike Purnell

Job Titles:
  • President, Drawing and Design
Mike founded Oak Construction in 1980, the year after his son was born. After giving his son the middle name of Oak, representing stability, steadfastness, truth, tolerance, and wisdom, Mike chose this name for his company. He started doing most of the work himself, which resulted in an expansive knowledge in all aspects of construction projects. Over the years Mike has honed his skills of true craftsmanship, drafting and design while continually holding a great reputation in the community. Mike has built the firm foundation and has helped continue the success of Oak Construction Company. Mike has responsibilities during several stages of a project, from the initial design and meetings to assuring the completed project meets client needs while also being code compliant.
