Patrick Hughes is a Quality Consultant for all aspects of ISO 9000, Malcolm Baldrige, and 10CFR50, Appendix B., for the construction, manufacturing, engineering, oil, gas, and nuclear industries. He specializes in the creation and renovation of ISO programs and serves as a personal coach for executives and the upwardly mobile. He was an officer with the U.S. Army for twenty years, thirteen of which were spent in nuclear weapons activities. He retired in 1981 to work for Brown and Root as a government contracting manager. After that he moved to the nuclear power industry, Gulf States Utilities, Mid South Utilities, ENTERGY Inc., Northeast Utilities, etc, and served in various quality and compliance assignments for fifteen years until his second retirement in the spring of 1996. He then served as CEO for International Consulting Engineers (INCE) until he resigned to pursue Consulting work. His formal education consists of a B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Math, from Virginia Military Institute, and both a Diploma and a Masters degree in Staff and Administration from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College.
