After serving as a police officer, Tami Cogan pursued a career as a legal representative. Years of working with the community and recognizing the need for a strong advocate to represent people in situations that were emotionally charged and technically complicated, she knew she could be the voice for people in need. She founded Phoenix Paralegal & Advocacy Services. Tami graduated with Honours from Algonquin College, Paralegal Diploma program, and has been a member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario since 2011. Tami has a Master's Degree in Conflict Resolution from Saint Paul University, and a certificate in mediation from the Canadian Institute for Conflict Resolution. Tami has successfully represented clients at the Human Right Tribunal of Ontario, Ontario Small Claims Court, Ontario Provincial Court, and at the federal Social Securities Tribunal, Income Division for CPP Disability Benefits, as well as other Tribunals and Boards. She is dedicated to achieving personalize legal resolution for her clients.
