Alysha Kutschinski

Job Titles:
  • Health & Safety Consultant
Alysha graduated from the University of New Brunswick with an Occupational Health and Safety Certificate in 2015. From there she began her career building Health and Safety manuals and creating Health and Safety Management Systems. Alysha then went on to obtain her Health and Safety Administrator designation from the ACSA in 2017. Alysha believes in the importance of maintaining a strong safety culture within a company and has in depth experience in building health and safety culture from the ground up. She has vast experience in the construction industry dealing with a wide range of hazards including heavy equipment, trenches, excavations and underground utilities. Alysha is currently working towards obtaining her OH&S Diploma and CRSP designation.

Antje Mundy

Job Titles:
  • Registered Nurse
Antje graduated from GMU in 1983 and has practiced in a variety of fields, from Emergency to Geriatrics. In 2017 she received an honourable mention in the Para Interdisciplinary Teamwork Awards. Antje loves working within a team environment, while improving and maintaining both physical and mental health capacities for all SDI Group clients.

Blair York

Job Titles:
  • Operations Manager
Blair graduated from the NAIT Occupational Health and Safety Diploma Program in April 2018. Blair began his safety career with SDI Group April 2017, working as a summer Co-Op- student, then part-time while completing his last year of schooling. He started full-time as a HSE Technician after graduating the program with Honors. Prior to beginning his studies, Blair achieved his Journeyman Carpentry Certificate in 2011, and then later obtained his NCSO (National Construction Safety Officer) certificate in 2014. Furthermore, Blair has also obtained his Drug and Alcohol Technician Certificate in 2017. In 2019, Blair received his Audiometric Technician and has conducted hundreds of clients tests. Blair is also COR auditor to support our clients with strong audit results. His experience in commercial construction has reassured his aspirations in the health and safety industry with the goal of providing a healthy and safe work environment for everyone.

Cheryl L'Arrivee

Job Titles:
  • VP of Operations
Cheryl is the SDI Group VP of Operations and has been the team's engine since day one. Cheryl graduated from the NAIT Occupational Health and Safety Diploma Program in April 2010. Cheryl joined the SDI Group shortly after and was promoted to Project manager in 2012. Cheryl continued her path in Health and Safety by writing and receiving the Canadian Registered Safety Professional designation in 2015. In 2017, Cheryl was promoted to VP of Operations and manages the team's valued client partnerships to ensure the highest quality of service. In 2018 Cheryl received her Occupational Screening Instructor Certification. Cheryl is also an external auditor and trainer for the SDI Group, along with managing several of our client contractor databases. In 2018, Cheryl received her certificate for the Scott Air Supplied Products Specialist Level Course. Cheryl is also an internal ISO auditor and provides consultation to many of our clients based on her expertise in health, safety and quality along with her extensive knowledge of occupational hygiene.

Cody Koll

Job Titles:
  • Health & Safety Consultant
Cody has received his Occupational Health and safety Diploma from Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in May 2020. During his cooperative experience Cody conducted incident investigations using a variety of different root cause analysis tools. In addition, Cody also worked on document development such as creating hazard assessments, and safe work practices and procedures. Cody also obtained his drug and alcohol technician certificate in 2019 and will be working towards his CRSP designation in the future. Cody is a member of the Driftpile Cree Nation.

David A. Williamson - Founder

David A. Williamson is one of the most sought after Health and Safety Professionals in North America with over twenty years' experience. David has always been known for his leadership in providing solutions to clients needs, which is one of the driving forces behind the SDI Group. David began his career in Edmonton instructing WHMIS and further developed his skills in Fort St. John, B.C., working for Texaco Canada. In 1999, after working as a regional and corporate manager, David founded the SDI Group. SDI Group started small, conducting COR audits and training, but quickly grew into managing several companies that covered all aspects of a Health and Safety Management System. David completed the Health and Safety certificate program in 2003. In 2005, David sat on the Canadian Society of Safety Engineers' executive to support the profession. David continued by writing and receiving the Canadian Registered Safety Professional designation in 2005. In 2009, David received his Certified Health and Safety Consultant (CHSC) designation. In 2010, David was elected as President of the Town of Tofield's Chamber of Commerce, where he served until 2014. In 2011, David was named to the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals as a governor, where he served for two terms. The Board represents the highest designation a Health and Safety Professional can achieve. David currently sits on the BCRSP National Education Symposium and is an BCRSP Ambassador to new CRSP's. David has worked extensively in the Education, Agricultural , Municipal, Manufacturing, Construction and Oil and Gas sectors. David's communication skills allows clients to see how a well-developed Health, Safety Management System can enhance any business model. Melanie Ward

Melanie's passion for health and safety started by working with various companies providing occupational health and safety advisor support. This included creating health and safety management systems, enhancing awareness of health resources to connect individuals within the systems they have. Melanie is also a NAIT Occupational Health and Safety Program graduate and is working towards her CRST and CRSP in the future. Melanie is dedicated to continual learning as a health and safety professional, as she believes health and safety is always evolving and we need to continue to grow through innovation and culture. When Melanie is not working, she is spending quality time with her 2 children. Work life and home life balance is her priority. In addition, Melanie is a proud Indigenous woman from Enoch Cree Nation. She is hoping to make her community proud and be a role model for other indigenous members who are wanting to pursue education.

Raj Sangha

Raj began his career in Environmental Sciences before transitioning into Occupational Health and Safety from the University of Alberta. He is currently working towards his CRSP designation in 2022. Raj has worked with a variety of clients to develop their health and safety management systems including prep for COR audits. Raj has experience performing hazard assessments, site inspections, toolbox talks and leading Joint Health & Safety Committees. He strives to ensure clients understand the importance of health and safety in the workplace to make it part of the daily work routine. Raj is always looking to expand his horizons by learning all facets of the health and safety profession. He believes that there is always room to grow, something he encourages all around him to do. If Raj is not playing tennis, vollyball or basketball, you can find him running or doing photography and listening to music.

Rosalie Gray

Rosalie Gray is the SDI Groups Indigenous Business Relations Manager and partner in SDI Mobile. Rosalie is a consultant in the Energy Sector specializing in Communication, Industry Relations, Procurement, Engagement and Negotiations. Rosalie is a highly respected business development specialist with proven success in driving sales and revenue growth. Rosalie is experienced in all market conditions to meet aggressive business goals either as an individual contributor or leading a high-performance team. Rosalie is also known for her versatile sales style adept with prospecting, business development, account management, solution/relationship selling, negotiating and closing at all levels. Rosalie possesses vital experience in communications, project management, research, policy development and data analysis. Rosalie has worked as the Communications Manager for Statistics Canada, Western Region and Northern Territories to establish relationships with the various clients within the region. Rosalie has extensive experience of Federal, Provincial, Private Sector and other funding agencies/service providers and resources which are available for individuals and businesses seeking strategic assistance. Rosalie supports all political and non - political organizations of indigenous peoples across this country. Trudy Meilleur

Trudy has over 20 years experience in multiple industries including construction. Trudy began her career in the health and safety profession in 2006. During this time, she worked towards her National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) designation, obtaining it in 2013. Trudy has worked with several organizations developing their health and safety management system to meet and exceed their standards. Trudy is well versed in conducting COR audits including leading many businesses in obtaining their COR or SECOR certification. Trudy is specialized in meeting on site job demands such as hazard assessments, site inspections, toobox talks and site changing requirements needed in today's industry. Trudy's vast experience and knowledge in all facets of health and safety allow her to rise to any challenge. In her home life, Trudy is married with three sons and one daughter. She enjoys watching her three sons perform live improv on stage in Edmonton, and her daughter's amazing artwork.
