Alfredo Mathew III

Alfredo Mathew III Alfredo Mathew is a career educator, born and raised in New York City. He currently resides in Pasadena, California where he is the History of the Americas teacher at Blair Magnet International Baccalaureate High School. Alfredo holds a B.A. in History & Anthropology from Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania, and received his Masters in Secondary Education from Mercy College's Urban Teacher Program in New York City. Of Puerto Rican and Anglo-American descent, Alfredo counts himself lucky to have had the rich international experiences he has had, which include studying, and teaching abroad in South Korea, Brazil, Guatemala, Ecuador, Costa Rica and London. Alfredo firmly believes a holistic education that engages the senses as well as the intellect is the key to successful learning.

Deepshikha - Deepshikha is a research scholar in the National University of Educational Planning and Administration (NUEPA), New Delhi, and is currently doing research in the area of Inclusive Education for children with special needs. Deepshikha has graduated (B.A. - English, Ancient Indian History and Computer Application) and post-graduated (M.A. - Women Studies) from Isabella Thoburn College, Lucknow. She has topped Lucknow University examination in M.A. Women Studies. She has qualified UGC-NET (Women studies) in 2007. Her interest areas of research in education are inclusive education, community participation in education and gender discrimination. She believes that all educators must conduct educational research at their own level in order to bring significant improvement in the education system because research is the only way that leads to new knowledge, innovations and finally development. She holds a field-attachment experience in State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Lucknow and District Institute of Educational Training (DIET), Lucknow. She aspires to be an academician and to serve the education system by being a policy maker. Deepshikha has interest in dance, yoga, sketching and exploring new places. She writes articles and research papers on education and loves to exchange knowledge and experiences. She believes that learning is an ongoing process that starts from cradle and ends in grave and everybody has something to learn from others. The road of learning has no end but walking on it gives immense joy, satisfaction and empowerment.

Dr. Jay Kumar Singh

He is a seasoned educator with more than 30 years of experience. Dr. Jay Kumar Singh started his career in some of the best institutions like Singhania School, Assam Valley School and Pathways. He spearheaded two institutions by being the founder principal and went on to lead some good institutions. He is a Master Trainer for Life Skills Programme launched by C.B.S.E. and developed practical exercises based on key areas where adolescent students need inputs and counseling. He has also chaired and organized workshops and seminars in various esteemed educational institutions in Delhi and NCR from time to time for teachers and students. He also brought in accolades to his school by achieving the CBSE SPORTS PROMOTION AWARD" 2013-14- due to active promotion of sports in the school in the year 2013-14," on the eve of Teacher's Day, 5th September 2014 by the CBSE Chairman Mr Vineet Joshi. His vision has always been to build a school culture and educational program conducive to student learning and development and to create a safe and secure 21st Century E-Techno School that fosters good moral values, integrity, creativity, out of the box thinking and excel in academics and co-scholastic areas.
