Dayna Dayton

Dayna Dayton graduated from Pierce College Dental Hygiene program in 1992 and earned her Bachelors Degree in Dental Hygiene from Eastern Washington University in 2021. She spent her first 20 or so years working in a pediatric dental office and now splits her time at Walker/Krause between restorative care, Invisalign and traditional hygiene. Dayna feels her greatest accomplishment in life is her two children. Her son Greysen graduated from University of Washington and is pursuing his dream of becoming a dentist. Meysa, her daughter, graduated from Grand Canyon University with her Bachelors Degree in Nursing. When not working with teeth, Dayna fills her time traveling, golfing, skiing, going on adventures and soaking up every ounce of sun she can in Palm Springs. Delivering pain-free injections and alleviating patient fears are the best part of her day. Dayna's newest passion is Invisalign treatment where she can be a part of creating healthy and beautiful smiles.

Dr. John Walker

With three decades of experience practicing cosmetic dentistry and general dentistry, Dr. John Walker, DDS, is regarded as one of Olympia's premier dentists. With three decades of experience practicing cosmetic dentistry and general dentistry, John Walker, DDS, is regarded as one of Olympia's premier dentists. An early practitioner of innovative cosmetic and general dental procedures, Dr. Walker has continued to expand his expertise with many days of continuing education classes each year and ongoing investments in new technology. Dr. Walker is a member of several national and local associations, including the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, and the Thurston-Mason Counties Dental Society. His involvement with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Academy of Computerized Dentistry ensures he maintains strong technical proficiency. Dr. Walker is a member of the advisory board for South Puget Sound Community College Dental Assisting Program, where he has taught part-time. He is active in various Thurston County health communities, including Children's Dental Health Coalition, the Campaign to Fluoridate Thurston County, the Community School Sealant Program, and the ABCD Task Force to improve access to care for low income children and families. Born and raised in Tacoma, Dr. John Walker attended the University of Washington, earning both an undergraduate degree in Zoology and his doctorate degree in Dentistry. He lives in Olympia and is the proud father of daughter Lauren and two sons, Evan and Cole. He enjoys many outdoor activities including biking, hiking, camping, snow and water skiing, and on and off-road motorcycling.

Kody J. Krause

Dr. Kody Krause, DDS was born and raised in the small town of Fillmore, Utah. After finishing his undergraduate studies in Utah, he attended the University of Southern California School of Dentistry and earned his DDS degree. Dr. Kody Krause was born and raised in the small town of Fillmore, Utah. After finishing his undergraduate studies in Utah, he attended the University of Southern California School of Dentistry and earned his DDS degree. His best memories from dental school come from his time volunteering with AYUDA International, a service organization that provides free dental care to children locally and internationally. As recognition for his academic and clinical achievements, Dr. Krause was inducted into the OKU National Dental Honor Society upon completion of his dental education. In 2009 he joined a practice in Loveland, Colorado, where he practiced until 2019. Dr. Walker and Dr. Krause were introduced by a mutual friend in 2018. They quickly realized that they share the same passion for delivering excellent, efficient, and comfortable care to their patients. He joined Walker Dental Team in December 2019 and partnered with Dr. Walker to form Walker & Krause Dental Team at the beginning of 2021. Dr. Krause has enjoyed meeting and providing excellent care to all of our current and new patients. Dr. Krause and his wife Julie were married in 2001, and they are the proud parents of Milo, Kyle, and Bryan. The entire family loves exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Dr. Krause enjoys any outdoor activity, especially hiking and skiing, and he recently has taken up pickleball and golf. When he and his family have a chance to get away, they love to travel. As a member of the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, and the Thurston-Mason Counties Dental Society, Dr. Krause stays involved and active in our dental community. He participates in many continuing education courses where he learns the latest techniques to better serve our patients, and he actively takes part in a local study club which gives him the opportunity to meet and collaborate with dentists and specialists from the surrounding area. The Walker & Krause Dental Team is dedicated to providing quality, comprehensive oral health care in a professional and comfortable atmosphere. We are a caring team that offers progressive dentistry personalized to each patient's needs.
