Professor Chua Kee Chaing is the President, Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT). He joined SIT in September 2019 as Deputy President (Academic) and Provost. Prior to joining SIT, Prof Chua was the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at the National University of Singapore (NUS). During his 30-year career at NUS, Prof Chua also served in other academic appointments including Vice Dean for Research at the Faculty of Engineering and Head of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He also spent time outside of NUS either on secondment or leave of absence to serve as the Deputy Director of the Centre for Wireless Communications (now the Institute for Infocomm Research, A*STAR) (1995-2000), the Founding Head of the Mobile Core R&D Department at Siemens Singapore (2001-2003) and the Director of Projects at the National Research Foundation, Prime Minister's Office (2006-2008). Prof Chua's research interests are in communication networks, including wireless, optical, sensor and underwater networks. He has co-authored more than 200 internationally refereed journal and conference papers, 2 books and 5 patents in these areas. Prof Chua is a Fellow of the Singapore Academy of Engineering and the Institution of Engineers, Singapore. He currently serves on the Boards of the Energy Market Authority and the NUS High School of Math and Science.

Dr Kwong Yuk Wah is Vice President (Digital Transformation) and Chief Digital Officer at the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT). She leads and drives digital transformation and data management at the University. Dr Kwong brings with her extensive experience in conceptualising, implementing and managing large-scale transformation projects involving multiple stakeholders. Her experience spans across the public, private and people sectors, with stints in various agencies and companies such as the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC), Singapore Airlines, Ministry of Finance (MOF), and then Infocomm Development Authority. She also conducts lectures at the National University of Singapore's School of Computing and the Nanyang Technological University's School of Computer Science and Engineering as an Adjunct Professor. She has played a significant role in major IT initiatives, including Singapore Government's Civil Service Computerisation Programme and various e-Government initiatives. Under her leadership, NTUC clinched the National Infocomm Awards (NIA) 2014 for the Most Innovative Use of Infocomm Technology in the private sector, which is the highest accolade for infocomm innovation in Singapore. Her many achievements include being recognised in the inaugural Singapore 100 Women In Tech (2020) list by Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) and the Singapore Computer Society (SCS). She was awarded the ASEAN CIO Award 2015, and was also celebrated in the inaugural CIO50 in ASEAN 2019 list as one of the top 50 senior technology executives driving innovation and influencing rapid change in the region. Dr Kwong is a Fellow Member of SCS and currently sits on the Board of the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, the Infocomm Technology Projects Advisory Panel (Public Sector) of MOF, and the AI Ethics & Governance Evaluation Board of SCS. She received her Doctor of Business Administration degree from the University of Newcastle, Australia in 2008.

Professor John Thong is the Deputy President (Academic) and Provost, Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT), overseeing the university's academic policies and curriculum, applied learning, faculty development and student administration. Prior to joining SIT in August 2020 as Vice Provost, Prof Thong was the Head of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the National University of Singapore (NUS). He graduated with a B.A. (1st Class Honours) in Electrical Sciences from Cambridge University in 1985, and a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the same university in 1989. In the same year, he was elected to a research fellowship at King's College, Cambridge, where he remained until 1991 before joining NUS in 1992. He has served on various grant and oversight panels and committees for A*STAR Science and Engineering Research Council (SERC) and the Ministry of Education's Academic Research Fund (AcRF). He was co-director of the National Research Foundation (NRF) Quantum Engineering Programme before stepping down in August 2020. Following his PhD research, Prof Thong's early research interests were in scanning electron microscopy and related techniques, electron-optical instruments, and electron sources. He co-founded Scanning Beam Technology Pte Ltd in 2000 to commercialise electron-beam techniques for integrated circuit analysis. His interests turned to nanotechnology in the early 2000's, with his most recent research being focused on structural, electrical and thermal properties of 1D and 2D nanomaterials.

Mr Bernard Nee is Deputy President (Industry & Community), Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT). He assumed the role on 1 April 2023 after being appointed Vice President (Industry & Community) on 1 Jan 2022. Bernard's group is responsible for industry and future sensing, corporate communications, as well as collaborations with companies and agencies for applied learning and research. Bernard actively engages companies, trade associations, government agencies and various interest groups to advance SIT's mission and vision. He brings along deep experience garnered from previous leadership roles at the Economic Development Board (EDB), National Research Foundation (NRF) and the Energy Market Authority (EMA). As the Deputy Chief Executive of EMA (2012-2021), he managed over $200 million in energy R&D funding, and forged partnerships with PSA Singapore, Sembcorp Industries, Keppel Offshore & Marine, SP Group and Shell to nurture the energy ecosystem. His team launched the Energy Story (a national blueprint enabling Singapore's energy transformation), introduced regulatory sandboxes, nurtured a competitive industry workforce and pushed Singapore's solar and energy storage ambitions. His portfolio also included oversight of EMA's corporate functions. Prior to 2012, he was with EDB for 18 years, where he assumed senior management roles as Executive Director in charge of Natural Resources, Strategic and Corporate Planning, as well as the Chief Information Officer. He seeded a team to incubate high-growth clusters that could contribute $1 billion to Singapore's GDP within 10 years. In 2005, he was seconded to the NRF as the pioneering Director to establish policies, processes, and systems to manage the $5 billion RIE2010 budget. A recipient of the EDB scholarship, Bernard possesses a Masters in Management of Technology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and graduated with an MSc and BSc (with University Honours) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Mr Ronnie Tay is the Deputy President (Administration) and Chief Financial Officer of the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT). In this role, Mr Tay is responsible for the resourcing and service support needs of SIT, in the functions of finance, human resource, information technology, estates, legal and library. Prior to joining SIT, Mr Tay served 36 years in the Republic of Singapore Navy and the Singapore Administrative Service. He was the Chief Executive Officer of the National Environment Agency from 2013 to 2018, and the Chief Executive Officer of the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore from 2007 to 2013. During his career in the Navy, he held various command and staff appointments, and was the Chief of Navy from 2003 to 2007. Mr Tay has previously served on the board of a number of organisations, including the Maritime & Port Authority of Singapore from 2004 to 2007, Media Development Authority of Singapore from 2008 to 2014, National Institute of Education Council from 2009 to 2014, DSO National Laboratories from 2010 to 2018 and Singapore Institute of Management University from 2011 to 2017. Mr Tay was awarded the Singapore Armed Forces Overseas Scholarship in 1982 and graduated from Oxford University in 1985 with a BA (First Class Honours) in Engineering Science. He also obtained a MSc in Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1997 under a SAF post-graduate scholarship, and attended the Advanced Management Programme at INSEAD, France in 2007. He was awarded the Public Administration Medal (Gold) (Military) in 2005, and the Long Service Medal (Military) in 2007. Mr Tsoi Mun Heng is the Vice President (Planning) of Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT). Mr Tsoi oversees strategic planning, enterprise risk management, organisational excellence, and safety and health. He also chairs the Campus Development Task Force. Prior to this appointment, Mr Tsoi was the Senior Director, Academic Analysis & Planning Division, responsible for putting in place policies, processes and systems as SIT made the transition to an Autonomous University in 2014, as well as assisting in the development of key concepts and frameworks underpinning SIT's academic programmes. Mr Tsoi graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1986, and subsequently obtained his MSc in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford University in 1993. Before joining SIT in August 2013, Mr Tsoi spent two years in the National Research Foundation (NRF) as Director of its Energy and Environment Research Directorate. At NRF, he was responsible for developing and implementing R&D programmes and innovative solutions to meet the challenge of achieving energy resilience and sustainable growth for Singapore. He joined NRF from the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF), where he was Director, Defence Industry and Systems Office developing industry capabilities to support the Singapore Armed Forces as well as formulating policies for effective logistics systems, methodologies and processes. Before his posting to MINDEF, Mr Tsoi was with the Republic of Singapore Air Force for 20 years as an engineer, holding various positions in aircraft maintenance and engineering, system management, planning, and control before becoming the Head of Air Logistics in 2003. He retired from military service as a Brigadier General in 2009. In recognition of his outstanding military service, Mr Tsoi was awarded the Public Administration Award (Silver) (Military) in 2005. Mr Tsoi is a Chartered Engineer (Aerospace) and a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES). He is also a member of the Chartered Engineers Board of the IES.

Professor Susanna Leong is the Vice President (Applied Research) at the Singapore Institute of Technology. She oversees the development and growth of applied research, including formulating and implementing strategies, policies and processes to enhance the quality and integrity of research activities in the university. Her current research interests are in biomolecular engineering and bioprocess engineering for applications in food, healthcare and bioremediation. Her ongoing research projects are done in close partnerships with local enterprises, multinational companies and government agencies with the intent to drive translation. Prof Leong sits on several national technical panels, including Startup SG Tech and food scientific review panels. She is also an editorial board member for a number of international peer-reviewed scientific journals, including ‘Chemical Engineering Science' and ‘Food and Bioproducts Processing'. Her previous appointments at SIT include serving as Cluster Director of the Food, Chemical and Biotechnology cluster, as well as Assistant Provost (Applied Research). Her research accomplishments have been recognised through several awards, including the Tan Chin Tuan Fellowship in Engineering, most cited author for ‘Food and Bioproducts Engineering' (2006-2009), and the Danckwerts-Pergamon Prize awarded by Cambridge University. She was a recipient of the Public Administration Medal (Bronze), National Day Award in 2018. Prof Leong is currently a Fellow of the Cambridge Commonwealth Trust, and holds an Adjunct faculty appointment at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore.
