Stamford High & Westhill seniors had an awesome learning experience last week when they visited Eversource on November 7. Students sat for an information session where they learned about the various jobs available at Eversource, as well as the training required and potential salary. Students were very engaged and attentive. Many took the opportunity to ride the bucket, and see first-hand what lineworkers experience at elevated heights. We look forward to welcoming Eversource at an upcoming Career Day at SHS, as well as our all-city College & Career Fair this spring!... This is the third year that the College & Career Center in collaboration with Career Pathways has been offering their Career Day Series. We believe it is important for students to gain exposure to various industries and welcome guest speakers from our community to come in and speak with our students about their personal story, background, education, and profession.
