ST PETER'S CE PRIMARY SCHOOL

We are very proud of our school, where there is a real sense of community between the school, the surrounding area and St Peter's Church. As a Church school, our Christian values of love, joy, respect, hope and forgivness, are at the heart of what we do and are inspired by the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 13:13: 'And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.' We believe that children learn best when these values are prioritised alongside their social and emotional needs... Our school was founded in 1857 by the first Parish Priest of St Peter's, Fr George Rundle Prynne. He saw the work of the school as a very important part of the work of the Church and wanted every child to have the best opportunities to grow and learn so that they would be able to make the best of themselves in adult life.
