Tri-County Community Action Program, as the lead agency in Coos, Carroll and Grafton Counties, is working in collaboration with the state Bureau of Housing Supports to secure volunteers to participate in the count and help homeless individuals complete a short and simple anonymous survey. Any community member, agency, municipality, civic or church group can participate in the PIT Count to help make sure that homeless individuals in these counties are accurately counted. Tri-County Community Action Program will ensure that participating groups and individuals receive training and support on how to fill out the PIT forms. We are also seeking agencies, such as food pantries and churches, who can offer a drop-in spot where homeless individuals can fill out the survey, get a hot meal and other resources, including a PIT Kit.
