The Swordfish 30 is a planing hull with a medium "V" constant deadrise of 15 degrees. The bow section has a high sheer full radius enabling complete use of length and beam. With the aid of a hard chine, it manages to keep a fine entry on the waterline to help reduce the effect of impact, (more apparent in dory and cathedral designs). It has a deep fore-foot to prevent blow-away and assist with drifting & working static lines... The Swordfish 30 is built to a very high standard, using knowledge accumulated over many years in building traditional wooden craft with a finesse gained from fitting-out luxury pleasure craft.
