Ventus Energy (NZ) Ltd was incorporated in New Zealand in 2004 and began preliminary investigation work on wind energy projects that year. The company has been actively progressing a number of sites in the upper North Island and currently has three active wind development projects including the Taumatatotara and Kaimai Wind Farm projects... Ventus Energy provides an innovative alternative option for development of independent wind energy solutions to the NZ market. We have successfully partnered with much larger corporates to realise successful projects through to completion. We take the front end risk of securing projects and taking them through the development stage to be ready for financing and operation.
