David S. Williams

Dr. Williams grew up in Swarthmore, PA and attended Swarthmore High School where he kicked extra points, played lacrosse and backstopped for the baseball team. After graduating in 1969, he attended Hobart College in Geneva, NY where he continued his lacrosse career winning a National Championship in 1972. While in Geneva he majored in biology and also enjoyed ornithology and was a member of Kappa Sigma. Dr. Williams then enrolled at the University of Pennsylvania's School of Dental Medicine. During his studies in University City, he met Angelika and they married in 1977, moving to Delaware for a hospital residency in Wilmington. After completing residency, Dr. Williams entered private practice and has continued his practice for the last 35 years. He and Angelika have lived in Greenville while raising their two children. Education: Swarthmore High School, 1969 Dr. David Williams is a 1977 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and received further training from The Wilmington Medical Center General Practice Residency through 1978. Dr. Williams opened his private practice in July 1982 in Newark, DE on Polly Drummond Hill Road, dedicated to family and cosmetic dentistry.

Erika L. Williams

Dr. Williams grew up in Greenville, DE and graduated form A. I. duPont high school. While in high school Erika swam, and played lacrosse and field hockey, while spending summers in the family business as a dental assistant. After graduation she was accepted at her grandparents alma matter, Swarthmore College, and was recruited to play field hockey and lacrosse. While at Swarthmore, Dr. Williams immersed herself in Art History, graduating in 2001 with a Bachelors of Arts in that subject. After graduating Dr. Williams, returned home and picked up working at the office and preparing for dental school. Dr. Williams then enrolled at the University of Pennsylvania's School of Dental Medicine. During the course of her studies she traveled abroad to train in a clinic in Glasgow, Scotland and was selected to work in the Medically Complex Clinic (MCC) Honors Program during her Senior Year, providing dental care and treatment to HIV/AIDS and medically complex patients. After graduation Erika returned to Delaware for a hospital residency in Wilmington. Upon completing residency, Dr. Williams has maintained private office hours while taking a position as teaching faculty at the Christiana Care/Wilmington Hospital Residency Clinic. Her position includes teaching in the Implant Clinic and she continues to have hospital privileges. Dr. Williams has been representing Delaware dentists as an alternate delegate to the American Dental Association. Education: Alexis I. duPont High School, 1997
