Dr. Stephanie Yamin is an associate professor in the School of Counselling, Psychotherapy and Spirituality at Saint Paul University. She is a clinical psychologist working with adults and older adults struggling with a wide range of mental health concerns. Her focus as a clinician includes dementia, major life transitions, grief, chronic illness, and trauma. Her research focus includes mobility in older age, optimizing quality of life for caregivers of persons with dementia, and cognitive aging. She has published in Canadian and international journals. She is also involved with the Canadian Consortium on Neurodegeneration (CCNA) study, a Canadian wide study funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR). She is the CCNA principle investigator for the Ottawa site at Bruyère Research Institute (BRI). Dr. Yamin is also a co-investigator on the driving and dementia team of the CCNA study, where she is responsible for reviewing and evaluating current interventions aimed at maintaining mobility and coping with driving cessation.

Patricia Marsden-Dole is the founder of the Centre for Aging and Community. After retiring from the Canadian Foreign Service, Patricia gained a Master of Arts in Inter-religious Dialogue and a Doctorate in Practical Theology at Saint Paul University. Her research and work was in the field of aging in an aging society with a focus on engaging community in the care of frail elders. She is also active in the following community organisations: Council on Aging Ottawa, Compassionate Ottawa, the Ottawa branch of the National Association of Federal Retirees, Centretown Churches Social Action Committee, Centretown Community Association, Multifaith Housing Initiative, and the Archdiocese of Ottawa Cornwall as Social Justice Coordinator where she has created a focus on seniors.

Roxana Manoiu is a PhD student in the School of Counselling, Psychotherapy and Spirituality at Saint Paul University. She is completing her thesis on the perceptions across the lifespan of driving under the influence of cannabis, under the supervision of Dr. Stephanie Yamin. She has an M.A. in Counselling and Spirituality and is a registered psychotherapist in the province of Ontario.
