We are all nowadays very concerned about the environment, global warming and climate issues. At Lingfield Lodge we have done something about this. Our veterinary clinic is probably the most environmentally friendly practice in England with a negative carbon footprint. The surgery, three houses nearby and our grain drier are all heated by burning big straw bales, grown here on the farm, in a huge boiler housed in one of the barns. In 2011 we installed two 50KW photovoltaic cell units generating a peak output of 100KW. These solar cell panels are situated on two barn roofs. The electricity from these more than supplies our needs with an export of energy to the national grid, enough to power twenty houses... The practice is dedicated to providing a comprehensive and up to date health care service for our client's pets. We are a 100% small animal practice. The practice has always provided veterinary care for Crayford Greyhounds and we see many greyhounds both racing and retired pets.....
