ARMFELT - Key Persons

Andrew Armfelt commenced his career in London where he was admitted as a solicitor and became a partner in a leading London Law firm. He subsequently continued his international practice from Paris in partnership with French lawyers having been admitted to the Paris Bar. In the early part of his career he was involved in mergers and acquisitions, corporate and insolvency work in London, before embarking on more than 15 years in the project finance field travelling extensively, particularly in Africa and the Middle East, and dealing principally with joint venture agreements, construction and engineering contracts, financing documentation and international arbitration. Once in Paris, he continued to devote a substantial part of his practice to arbitration and represented clients in disputes in the environmental and healthcare sectors. He also has advised start up enterprises in various aspects of the biotechnology industry, including predictive and preventive medicine, white blood cell storage and organic vaccines.
