Alan Gill

Alan earned degrees in Physics and Mathematics and (in his previous lifetime) worked as a Software Engineer for Computer Analytics Corporation and Electronic Data Systems in Chicago, IL. Alan and his wife, Julie, were married in 2011. They have three grown children Emmie, Jonathan, and Mattie. They are delighted all three kids have settled in North Carolina and are expecting their first grandchild in May. Alan is an avid baseball fan (with high hopes for his beloved White Sox) and enjoys making music, live theatre, storytelling, and all kinds of performing arts. Alan Gill began serving as our Church Administrator on January 15, 2020.

Amy Gallaher

Amy Gallaher has been the Minister of Missional Engagement at Ardmore Baptist Church since November of 2019. Although she was born in and lived her first seven years in Greensboro, North Carolina, she spent most of her childhood in Hungary. As the daughter of CBF Field Personnel who served the Romany in Eastern Europe, she grew up as a Third Culture Kid (TCK) giving her a unique strength for moving about different cultures and learning the value of advocacy. She received a Bachelor's of Social Work from Campbell University and felt a call to ministry, which led her to work on a Master of Divinity from Campbell University Divinity School. She served as a Community Life Pastor at Mosaic Church of Clayton where she was also ordained to gospel ministry. From there she discerned a calling to chaplaincy at WakeMed Health and Hospitals in Raleigh, NC where she worked part-time for 4 years. "All of my life God has been slowly, steadily working on my heart and through my life to lead me into missional engagement. As a child, I saw firsthand the need for God's people to be present all over the world, to advocate for those without voices, to feed and clothe those without resources, and to love unconditionally in the most relational ways possible. I knew when this position opened up at Ardmore that God had been leading me to it since I was a child. I thank God and Ardmore for the opportunity to serve alongside this community of Winston-Salem and throughout the world." Amy's husband Tyler serves as a veterinarian. Together, they have a son, JT, and an energetic dog, Sandy.

Cindy East

Cindy graduated from Bishop McGuinness High School and married her high school sweetheart, David. She attended Lenoir-Rhyne College in Hickory, NC where she received her accounting degree. Her husband, David, attended the Citadel in Charleston, SC. He is a Civil Engineer, surveyor, and general contractor. They have been married 36 years, and have one son, Joseph, who is married to Patty, They are the parents of Cindy and David's "two beautiful grandchildren, Harper and Jace." They feel very blessed. David and Cindy live in the Pfafftown area and attend Center Grove Baptist Church in Clemmons. She enjoys baking, traveling and spending every free moment with Harper and Jace.

Dane Martin

Dane was raised in Winston-Salem, NC. In 2006, he received his Bachelor of Arts from Seton Hall University with a major in Religious Studies and minors in Latin and Classics. Dane continued his studies and received his Master of Divinity from Emory University: Candler School of Theology in 2009. Before arriving at Ardmore, Dane served as Minister of Youth and Discipleship at Cedar Falls Baptist Church, as a Chaplain at WakeMed Hospital through the Clinical Pastoral Education Program, and became the Community Connector for Urban Ministries of Wake County. He has worked with students in children's homes and foster care, connected with students through hosting mission teams, and grown with students within the church and in the community. Dane is married to his wife Gretchen, a native of Wisconsin. Gretchen and Dane met while at Emory University and were married in 2012. Currently, Gretchen is a Family Support Coordinator with Carolina Donor Services. They have two young sons, Finley and Brooks. Dane enjoys playing all sorts of sports, especially soccer, which he has been playing his entire life. His love for hiking, camping, and backpacking developed during his time as a Boy Scout. He also finds joy in running, being in the gym, and getting sweaty. Dane is a diehard Duke Basketball fan, Michigan football fan, and he watches as many games as possible. He loves spending time with his family, traveling, seeing new places, eating indigenous foods, and getting immersed into a new culture. Dane Martin became the Minister with Students at Ardmore Baptist Church in April 2016.

Debra Norris

Debra Norris began as Communications/Missions Assistant at Ardmore Baptist Church in October 1995. Debra has been a member of Ardmore Baptist Church since October 1992. Debra has worked as a Registered Nurse in medical and surgical cardiac units in the Carolinas and Pennsylvania. She attended Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary before being appointed as a missionary. She was with the International Mission Board for nine years, serving as a Nurse Educator at the Baptist School of Allied Health Sciences in Gaza City, Gaza.

Dr. Gina Brock

A native of Charlotte, NC, Gina has served Baptist congregations in Virginia, South Carolina, and Kentucky. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Wake Forest University, a Master of Divinity from the Baptist Theological Seminary in Richmond, Virginia, and a Doctor of Educational Ministry from Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, Georgia. Gina and her husband, Chip, were married in 1999. They have one daughter, Rebecca. In her spare time, Gina likes to read historical fiction books, enjoy a good movie, and find ways to be outside - usually walking her dog with her husband. She also loves to travel, and has visited China, Canada, Great Britain, Hungary, Costa Rica, and Germany. Some of her heroes are Martin Luther King, Jr., Ghandi, and Mother Teresa. They inspire her by their self-sacrifice, wisdom, vision, and their fight against injustice. Mother Teresa, especially, impresses Gina by her kindness. Dr. Gina Brock began serving as Associate Pastor/Minister of Faith Formation and Congregational Care in February 2017.

Elizabeth is a native of West Virginia. She was born in Huntington, WV, but moved to Ripley, WV in fifth grade. Her family moved to Portsmouth, OH the summer before her junior year in high school. Elizabeth went to college at Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH where she received a Bachelor's degree in Communications. Elizabeth and her husband, Andrew, have been married for 18 years and have three children: Nicholas, 15, Sarah, 13, and Mary Catherine, 10. Elizabeth enjoys reading, culling Pinterest for new recipes, crafting, and volunteering at a local community theatre. Although she doesn't consider herself a writer, she published a book of women's inspirational stories titled Triumphant. She likes watching "her" teams on TV with her son. Her varied allegiances include the Green Bay Packers, the Carolina Panthers, Xavier University basketball, and West Virginia University football. As a Huntington native, she also roots for Marshall. Fun fact about Elizabeth: For the past several years she has been conducting family research for herself and friends. She spends plenty of time on Ancestry.com, and has found many connections and answered questions, which she has found to be very rewarding. "I am so grateful to be working at Ardmore Baptist Church where everyone has been so nice and supportive. Although I am a cradle Episcopalian, my family has Baptist roots. My paternal great-grandfather was a Baptist minister and helped build churches throughout West Virginia, and my maternal great-great grandfather was also a Baptist minister."

Kevin Anderson

Born and raised in Iowa, Kevin graduated two professional music diploma programs at McNally Smith College of Music in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He studied guitar performance, music theory, jazz harmony, studio recording, and music education. He worked as an assistant for the Music Theory Department, and he won the Award for Outstanding Achievement in the field of Guitar. While in college, Kevin found his passion teaching private music lessons in guitar, bass, trumpet, and ukulele. He moved to Portland, Oregon and created his own business teaching private and small group music lessons at several music stores and in his home studio. Kevin has performed with several music groups, including the regular Sunday worship band at Greater Portland Bible Church for many years, where he also contributed to the recording, performance, and production of an album of worship music. He has performed solo fingerstyle acoustic guitar, duets, and with full band ensembles. Kevin has performed music at weddings, funerals, concerts, fundraisers, and many other events. He has volunteered his musical talents at assisted living centers on the holidays, and created performance opportunities for his music students. Kevin enjoys directing the technical team at Ardmore Baptist Church with sound, lights, projection, and recording of Sunday services. During the week, he also works in the IT department at Novant Health, supporting the hospital staff at Forsyth Medical Center. Ever since a very young age, Kevin has been interested in music, technology, and taking things apart to figure out how they work. Kevin and his wife, Allison, were married in 2016. Allison grew up with the community at Ardmore Baptist Church, and Kevin has been attending since he moved to North Carolina in 2013. They have a son, Roger, who was born in 2018. All three of them are passionate about music, nature, and animals, especially rescue dogs. Allison and Kevin have performed several concerts together as a musical duo called Southern Bacon. Lee Sosebee Ritchie

Lee was born and raised in Athens, Georgia. In 2001, she received a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education at the University of West Georgia. After teaching first and second grades for three years, she attended the McAfee School of Theology at Mercer University in Atlanta, Georgia earning a Master of Divinity in Christian Education in 2008. Lee served First Baptist Church in Commerce, Georgia as Minister to Children and Youth for eight years before coming to Ardmore. Lee and her husband, Jason, were married in 2000. Jason is a graduate of the University of Georgia and works for Anderson University as the Director of Information Services. They have a son, Warren, and a daughter, Mary Margaret. Lee enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading a good book, being near water, creating random art projects, and exploring the world from her children's perspective. She also enjoys baking, practicing spiritual disciplines, being in nature, eating the food from her garden, and yoga. Fun facts about Lee: She learned the 10 commandments, all the books of the Bible, and all 50 states in the U.S. through songs as a child, and she still knows them today. Ask her to sing any of them and she will enthusiastically! You might find her periodically breaking into song about everyday ordinary life. She also thoroughly enjoyed reading the Harry Potter series and loves to think through them from a theological perspective. "Watching children experience God's goodness inspires me. Children have a way of seeing what we adults forget to make room for in our day to day life. They dream the impossible and still know that God will be there with them as they try to reach their dreams. I keep learning of children who see a need and, with God's help, will pour all their energy into meeting that need. I am also inspired by each person I encounter who feels called to serve God, in big and small ways, and pushes through to answer that call. So please, find me and share your story with me!" Tyler Tankersley

A native of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Tyler served as Pastor of First Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau since 2015. He was the Director of the Create Program and Assistant to the Dean (2014-2015) at Central Baptist Theological Seminary in Shawnee, Kansas. He served as Associate Pastor for Students and Spiritual Formation (2009-2014) at Second Baptist Church in Liberty, Missouri. Prior to that he was Director of Young Adult Ministry (2007-2009) at First Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He also served as Campus Ministry Intern (2007-2009) at the Baptist Student Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Tyler holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Southeast Missouri State University, and a Master of Divinity from Central Baptist Theological Seminary in Shawnee, Kansas. Tyler and his wife, Jess, were married in 2008. They have three children, Henry, Owen, and Charlotte. Tyler's hobbies include reading, drinking good coffee, exploring new places to eat, hiking, playing superheroes with Henry & Owen and playing school with Charlotte (she is always the teacher!), writing, creative baking, movies.
