Dede Cusimano Golf Academy is the exclusive provider for golf coaching at Aspen Golf Club. Regardless of your ability, Dede provides programs that are designed to improve your golf game no matter what age and ability level your are currently playing at. Whether you are a new golfer to the game or an experienced player, she will help you achieve your golf goals to make the game more enjoyable for you. From private golf coaching sessions, weekly clinics or customized golf schools, Dede Cusimano Golf Academy is here to teach the fundamentals of the game to players of all levels and develop each students ability beyond their expectations. Using state-of-the-art technology including FlightScope Launch Monitors and V1 Golf Swing Analysis, Dede and her instructors give each client an unparalleled golfing experience that allows players to cultivate their talents and capitalize on their potential! Adult clinics will be held Wednesday evenings from 5:30-6:30pm and Saturday mornings from 9:00-10:00am. Dominic Lanese III, GCSAA is a Golf/Recreations Manager at the Aspen Golf Club and has been with the City of Aspen and Aspen Golf Course since April of 1983. Dominic and his wife Emily have dug deep roots here in Aspen and are the parents too two wonderful teenagers!
Originally from Long Island N,Y, he grew up in Scottsdale, AZ and he attended Scottsdale Community College before moving to Aspen. In 2002 he completed his Turfgrass Management degree at Penn State University. Dominic wears many different hats with the City of Aspen along with his work experience in Ice Facilities and Recreation he brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to our team. Dominic is very passionate and committed to providing the public with the best possible playing conditions and looks forward to enhancing your golf experience everyday at the Aspen Golf Club.

Erin Hutchings is the Operations Manager for the Aspen Recreation Center and Aspen Ice Garden. Erin grew up in Western Colorado and came to Aspen working for the United States Forest Service. Erin has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Metropolitan State University and a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Colorado at Denver School of Public Affairs. Erin also holds instructor trainer certification with the American Red Cross, National Parks and Recreation Association Certified Park and Recreation Professional, Aquatics Facility Operator accreditations, and is a USA swimming coach for the Aspen Swim Club. Erin is passionate about leadership and service and is skilled in facilitation training. She volunteers time with the Aspen Rotary Club and Roaring Fork Leadership and serves on the Rocky Mountain Rink Association board. She has worked in the parks and recreation industry for over 25 years. Erin enjoys the outdoors, and you might see her out on the trails, in the snow, on the river with her very energetic dogs.

There are 4 pickleball courts open year-round, from dawn to dusk, on a first-come first-served basis. Unless there is scheduled programming. Scheduled programming can be found on website (under Sports / Activities) and in the glass case at the courts. No attendant or membership will be available for summer of 2023.

Lyndsey grew up here in Aspen and spent her time going to Extended Day after school every day, swimming on the Aspen Speedos swim team, ski racing with AVSC and the Aspen High School ski teams, and rafting all over Colorado and Utah with her family. Recently, she's spent her winters as a ski instructor at Buttermilk Mountain and her summers as a camp counselor at Camp Aspen Snowmass. She's now come full circle as Day Camp Supervisor, running the full day and afterschool programs she used to regularly attend. She is excited to be giving back to local families by creating fun and engaging activities for Aspen City Day Camp so the current generation will have the same awesome memories of Afterschool and Summer Camp that she does.

Thor is the new Ice Program Coordinator with the City of Aspen. He is originally from Minnesota, where he grew up with a pair of skates on and played hockey throughout youth hockey and high school hockey. He attended the University of Minnesota, graduating in May of 2017 with a B.Sc. in Kinesiology. While there, he ran and played in the intramural hockey program, along with other recreational sports including softball, volleyball, and broomball.
Thor moved to Aspen in the fall of 2017, where he started working with Challenge Aspen. In the years between, he has been a ski instructor, fitness instructor, canoe guide, backpack guide, and a camp counselor.
He returns to the hockey rink after a four year hiatus, and is excited to be joining the ice team!
Travis is the Athletics Coordinator for the Recreation department. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and later moved to Northeast Pennsylvania where he completed his education graduating from Hazleton Area High School. Soon after he played professionally in the ABA and began to work at his hometown neighborhoods YMCA-YWCA as Sports Director. Travis is a father of a young princess named Sophia Harper, enjoys watching and playing sports and riding his e bike around town. Travis is also the head coach for the boys JV basketball team and varsity assistant for the Aspen Skiers.
