Jason Roberts, MD, is the first and only ENT physician in Western North Carolina performing cochlear implant surgery to restore hearing. He is also the only doctor in the region with pediatric ENT fellowship training. This allows him to care for children with more complex conditions. In addition, he offers comprehensive medical and surgical care for the full range of ear, nose and throat disorders.
John "Chip" Currens, MD, joined Asheville Ear Nose & Throat in 2001. He offers comprehensive medical and surgical ear, nose and throat care, including treatment of sinus disease. Dr. Currens has a special interest in pediatric ENT care for conditions such as ear infections, tonsillitis, and obstructive sleep apnea. He also performs thyroid surgery to remove cancerous and benign growths.
ENT physician Robert Moore, MD, grew up in Eastern Tenessee. After completing medical training in Mississippi, his love of the mountains brought him to Asheville, where he joined our practice in 2005. He provides comprehensive ear, nose and throat care for patients of all ages, with a special interest in thyroid surgery, sinus surgery, and surgical treatment of sleep apnea for patients who cannot tolerate a CPAP or who have not responded well to medical treatment.
Ronald Lane, MD, is a native of New Hampshire and has been a partner with our practice since 1994. He joins our other ENT physicians in providing complete medical and surgical care for all types of ear, nose and throat conditions. His special interests include thyroid cancer surgery, surgery of the salivary glands, and the diagnosis and management of acid reflux.
Stephen Seal, MD, offers comprehensive ear, nose and throat care for patients of all ages. He joined our practice in 1989, and specializes in helping patients with head and neck cancer and performing reconstructive surgery. Dr. Seal is the only board-certified facial plastic surgeon in Western North Carolina and also offers facial cosmetic surgery, including facelifts, eyelid surgery and nose surgery.
