ASSUMPTION SEMINARY

Assumption Seminary is indeed a blessing to the people of the Archdiocese of San Antonio and to those called to the priesthood from throughout the United States and many parts of the world. All who have come before me, archbishops, seminary administration, faculty, staff, and most importantly seminarians have built an inspired foundation for the preparation of men to serve the people of God. Assumption Seminary has established itself in an international leadership role in the formation of future priests who are called to minister in the multicultural reality that requires a special understanding and respect for the diversity that will continue to be the Church of the future... Assumption Seminary is a bilingual and multi-cultural community of priestly formation. This seminary exists for the personal, spiritual, theological and ministerial preparation of diocesan seminarians for the Roman Catholic Church.
