The Atlanta Area Council is committed to keeping our youth safe and we appreciate the commitment of our volunteer leaders to make this happen... The Atlanta Area Council is a local council of the Boy Scouts of America. It serves 13 northern Georgia counties: Carroll, Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Douglas, Fulton, Gwinnett, Haralson, Newton, Paulding, Pickens, and Rockdale... The Atlanta Area Council offers camping opportunities at Bert Adams Scout Camp, Woodruff Scout Camp, and Allatoona Aquatics Base.
