Conrad Lee is Bellevue's first minority member of the City Council, the longest continuous serving member of the council and the first mayor (2012-2013) of Asian (Chinese) ancestry.
He represents Bellevue on the Greater Seattle Partners Executive Council and Puget Sound Regional Council Economic Development Board. He is council liaison to the Environmental Services Commission and Special Events Committee.
He was the former president and chair of the Society of Chinese Engineers of Seattle, as well as the Chinese American Association for Professionals. He chaired the Ethnic Chinese New Year Festival and was president of the Chinese Garden Society.
Conrad holds a master's degree in business administration from the University of Washington and a bachelor's degree in engineering from the University of Michigan. Conrad is retired, after working as the regional administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration and an engineer for the Boeing Co. and Seattle Solid Waste Utility.
Born in China, Conrad grew up in Hong Kong and has lived in Bellevue since 1967. He and his wife Winnie live in the Somerset neighborhood, where they raised their two children, Christopher and Jennifer. They have three granddaughters.
Dave Hamilton was elected to the City Council in November 2023, for a four-year term starting in 2024. Prior to his election, he served on the Parks & Community Services Board for six years, chairing the board from 2021 to 2023.
In addition to the Park Board, Dave served on the board of the Sophia Way, the Bellevue College Business Advisory Board and Bellevue Chamber of Commerce's board and executive committee. Around the time of his election to the council, Dave retired from a 35-year career in medical logistics.
Dave supports the city's efforts to increase housing supply, improve housing affordability, maintain a high level of public safety and improve our transportation systems. His priorities also include parks and open space and protection and enhancement of the environment.
Dave was born and raised in the Puget sound region. He and his wife live in Northeast Bellevue. They have six grown children.

Janice Zahn joined the City Council in November 2017, after being elected earlier that month to fill the previously vacated Position 5 seat. Janice, who is engineering director at the Port of Seattle, strives to make the city more strategic, regional and communicative. She has lived in Bellevue since 1994.
Janice's priorities include managing Bellevue's rapid growth to address "the increasing tension between livability and economic vitality," ensuring more streets serve a variety of users and finding ways to make housing more affordable for all who want to live in Bellevue.
Janice represents the council on the King County Eastside Transportation Partnership Steering Committee, the National League of Cities Transportation and Infrastructure Services Committee and the King County Cities Climate Collaboration. She is also council liaison to the Issaquah School Board and Transportation Commission.
Noting Bellevue's diversity, Janice wants to ensure that the city continues its work to be more inclusive and celebrate the richness of its culture.
Janice served on the city's Transportation Commission from 2013 to 2017. She has also been a Girl Scout leader and participated with the PTSA. In 1997 and 1998, she participated in the city's Advance Bellevue community leadership program. She volunteers with The Sophia Way, an Eastside nonprofit that provides shelter for homeless women.
An immigrant from Hong Kong, Janice lives in the Greenwich Crest neighborhood with her husband Dwain and daughters, Megan and Leah. She is an active member of the Aldersgate United Methodist Church.
Janice holds a master's degree in public administration from the University of Washington Evans School, as well as a Master of Science degree in structural engineering and mechanics and a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering, both from the University of Washington.
John Stokes was elected to the City Council in 2011. He was re-elected in 2015, and elected mayor by the council for 2016 and 2017.
During his time on the council, John has advocated for affordable housing and livability in Bellevue and multimodal transportation, as well as construction of an Eastside performing arts center.
Councilmember Stokes represents Bellevue on the Sound Cities Association, the King County Eastrail Regional Advisory Committee, the King County Regional Policy Committee, the King Conservation District Advisory Committee. He is council liaison to the city's Arts Commission and the Bellevue School Board.
A longtime advocate for education, John is council liaison with the Bellevue School District. He is also liaison with the Arts Commission and Parks & Community Services Board. His council assignments include the King County Eastrail Regional Advisory Council and the King County Regional Policy Committee.
Prior to joining the council, John was a member of the Parks & Community Services Board for three years. He also served on the Eastgate/I-90 Citizen Advisory Committee and the Bellevue Parks Yes! Levy Steering Committee.
In addition, John cofounded Eastside Pathways, a collective-impact nonprofit working to ensure that all children have the support they need to maximize their opportunities for productive, fulfilling lives.
John moved to Bellevue in 1991 from Dallas, Texas. A retired attorney, he holds a law degree from George Washington University and a bachelor's degree in political science from Texas Tech University.
John has a grown daughter. He is an avid reader and model railroader. He also enjoys gardening and an eclectic variety of music.

Mayor Lynne Robinson joined the City Council in 2014, and she has a long history of civic involvement. She is a champion for startups and small business, and has encouraged startup and equity crowdfunding workshops at City Hall. Her colleagues voted her deputy mayor in January 2018 and mayor in January 2020, 2022 and 2024.
Lynne also advocates for the environment, parks and open spaces, human services and affordable housing in Bellevue. She proposed a property tax exemption adopted by the council for multifamily complexes that include affordable housing.
She represents the council on the King County Mental Illness and Drug Dependency Advisory Committee, the King County Affordable Housing Committee and the Puget Sound Regional Council Executive Board.
Before her election to the council, Lynne served on and chaired the Bellevue Network on Aging and the Parks & Community Services Board.
A retired physical therapist who ran her own business for 20 years, Lynne holds a doctorate in physical therapy from Regis University and bachelor's degrees in physical therapy from Northwestern University Medical School and community services from California State University Chico. Lynne developed an interest in computer science while in college, and she is on the Washington Technology Industry Association Cascadia Blockchain Council.
Lynne and husband Dan Watson live downtown after moving from the Woodridge neighborhood, where they had resided since 1997. Their two children graduated from Bellevue public schools and are successful professionals.

Richards Creek Open Space, 1640 Richards Rd
This project will involve the removal of non-native invasive vegetation from natural wetland areas within Richards Creek Open Space. The scope of work will involve the removal of non-native invasive vegetation from the Richards Creek riparian buffers. All the areas impacted by the removal of invasive vegetation will be replanted with native trees and shrubs that are suitable for site conditions. This project will result in a more diverse and healthier wetland ecosystem that will enhance wildlife habitat and improve ecosystem functions. Estimated project completion: Fall 2024.
