The Levite Jewish Community Center prides itself on being a welcoming facility to people of all faiths, ages, genders, sexual identities, and socioeconomic backgrounds. We are a family-oriented recreational and educational facility that is open to the entire community. As a recipient of Birmingham Jewish Federation and United Way dollars, we impact thousands of Birmingham residents annually... The LJCC is home to a large fitness center that includes free weights (dumbbells up to 100 lbs., specialty barbells, kettlebells, and bumper plates), Cybex machines, and cardio equipment (Stairmasters, treadmills, ellipticals, and concept II rowers). We also offer dozens of group fitness classes weekly, personal training, a five-mile hiking and biking trail, and large indoor and outdoor pools plus a baby pool...
