Terry Simony is the Administrative Assistant at Bethany Lutheran Church. Prior to her tenure at Bethany, Terry worked for 35 years as a legal secretary, with fifteen of those years dedicated to the Gefsky and Lehman law firm as their litigation and legal secretary. In addition to administrative work, Terry is also a Notary Public. Originally a Monroeville, PA native, Terry moved to Bethel Park in 1975. She has one son, and two grandchildren who recently returned to the Pittsburgh area. Terry enjoys spending time with her family, her dog, Molly, gardening, and reading.
I began my working career as a Reg. nurse. After Peter and I had adopted several children, I stayed home to raise them and homeschool several of them. Shortly after arriving in Pennsylvania, I began to listen to the calling of God to become a pastor. I was an Aaron's minister for a time and felt I needed to do more. While I was on a youth trip to Gettysburg, TEEM was introduced to me. I went to Gettysburg, completed my TEEM education and was ordained in 2012. I did my internship with PLUM and was a member of the team from 2009 until I was called as Bethany's pastor in November 2018.
