Together with the leadership of 150th Vision Team the church celebrated its sesquicentennial by adopting a vision to strengthen our ministries as a community of welcome and service.

Kirby was born into a family that moved frequently early in his life. In each new location, his family, in search of a sense of community and a place to grow in the faith, quickly connected with a Presbyterian congregation. His church experience was foundational.
After obtaining his bachelor's degree in psychology at Baylor University, he felt called to go to Union Presbyterian Seminary in Richmond, Virginia, where he obtained a four-year doctor of ministry degree. Over the course of the 39 years since, he has served churches in Memphis, Tennessee, Atlanta, Georgia, Washington, D.C., and most recently, Abington Presbyterian Church. Each call included caring ministries within and beyond the congregation. He views it as a great blessing when people have allowed him to journey with them as they face a variety of joys and challenges.
Years ago, Kirby went on a Presbyterian Peacemaking Program trip to Israel/Palestine, and met the person who would become his wife and soulmate, Nancy Lawrence Hill. They are blessed with a daughter, Grace, who is a second-grade teacher in San Francisco, and a son, Jordan, who does television production work in Philadelphia. Kirby enjoys spending time with family at the beach or enjoying nature while walking their dog, Sophie. He is enriched by a variety of music and live stage productions, enjoys reading history and following Philly sports. He is grateful for the caring community experiences within the church, and joyfully anticipates such expressions of God's grace going forward.

M. Courtenay Willcox lives out her life's priorities of family, faith and environmental concerns in her activities and involvements. A recent graduate of United Lutheran Seminary in Philadelphia, she received a Master of Divinity degree in May. As a cradle Presbyterian, Courtenay is a former Moderator of the Presbytery of Philadelphia and served on the Presbytery's Commission on Ministry. She has preached in more than 30 local congregations as a Commisioned Ruling Elder in this Presbytery.
A lifelong member of Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church, she is part of four generations of Teaching and Ruling Elders. Her grandfather, Harold T. Smith, was the first associate pastor at BMPC and lived in Converse House in the late 1950s and early 1960s; so for Courtenay, visiting her grandparents was a wonderful coming together of family, church and God.
She is thankful that her church took seriously the promises made at her baptism and helped shape her Christian faith. At BMPC, she especially enjoys working with youth and teaching Confirmation classes, moderating the Environmental Justice Committee, and serving on the Eugene C. Bay Fund. Spending time in the Outer Banks with husband Tom, three adult children, a son-in-law and schnoodle is a gratefully received gift. There is nothing like a sunrise walk on the beach!
